How The Bushman Saved Our Economy…Literally!
One of my personal favorite Wing Nuts has a new column up at NewsMax and it’s a good one. If you haven’t met this gentleman yet, let me just say that he might possibly be the nuttiest of them all. So everybody please put your hands together and give a warm welcome to our very special guest…Wilsonnnnnnn Lucommmmmm!
The war on terrorism is President Bush?s strongest point, and he must stick to that topic and keep re-emphasizing to all voters, especially the uncommitted, that by fighting abroad he has successfully protected them for almost three years from further attacks in the United States. And the U.N. also bears responsibility for failing to stop the 9/11 attack because it has a duty to keep world peace.
Yes, that certainly sounds like a good reason to blame the UN for 9/11.
President Bush must repeatedly tell voters that his policy of attacking Saddam Hussein, the “father and grandfather of terrorists” (“The Connection: How al Qaeda’s Collaboration with Saddam Hussein Has Endangered America,” by Stephen F. Hays, p. 93), has protected you from further terrorist attacks on U.S. soil. His policy of not fighting the terrorists in the U.S. but in Iraq was a brilliant strategy; it kept you from being attacked in America.
Brilliant, indeed. The best part is that we?ll never run out of terrorists to fight there because our presence keeps breeding more!
The very important reason the war on terrorism and not the economy must have the highest priority is that if the U.S. is attacked, and attacked seriously, the economy of the United States will be in shambles. It is far more important for President Bush to protect the economy from being ruined by a terrorist attack than to nitpick over whether the economy is doing as well as it could.
Classic Lucom. Remember, this is the man who gave us this inescapable logic:
“It is a fact that cannot be denied: You would not be alive today to read this message if your mother and father were homosexuals who would not have children.” (Thanks to S.Z. for link)
Using Lucom’s brilliant logic, terrorism is the only thing that matters because everything else would be destroyed if the terrorists succeeded. Frankly, I don?t know why the Bushman even bothers to address other issues.
President Bush has successfully handled the war on terrorism and protected this country from further terrorist attack. If Kerry?s delaying policy of working through the United Nations had been followed, the terrorists would have had time to regroup and most likely would have again struck, killing many of you. Therefore, the re-election of President Bush is critical in this age of terrorism.
That?s right, dear friends. If John Kerry had somehow been President four years ago, it is “most likely” that many of you would now be dead. Thank God he wasn?t running.
And, as always, thank God for Lucom.
Wilson C. Lucom
Using Lucom’s brilliant logic, terrorism is the only thing that matters because everything else would be destroyed if the terrorists succeeded. Frankly, I don’t know why the Bushman even bothers to address other issues.
But, but, but, does this mean I shouldn’t expend my energy hating the fags, only the Muslims!? Dear Leader, I am so confused!
Frankly, I don?t know why the Bushman even bothers to address other issues.
Aside from using them as warm-up jokes, he doesn’t.
“And remember, if you don’t have a US flag stuck up your ass at all times, then the terrorists have won.” ~ Bill Hicks
You can’t hardly argue with logic like Lucom’s. I’m sure that if al Qaeda attacks the U.S. between now and election day, Lucom will urge everyone to vote for Kerry because Bush has failed to stop the terrorists. No, of course he’d say that this shows that the terrorists want Kerry because he, unlike Bush, won’t prevent future terrorist attacks — and thus it remains imperative that we vote for Bush.
I still like the line about Saddam being the father and grandfather of all terrorists. But I still can’t see the family resemblance between him and and Tim McVeigh.
Oh, they’re always going on about “the third Iraqi terrorist” supposedly involved in Oaklahoma. Of course, there was a time when we could have just asked McVeigh himself about it…
However, the family resemblance with Shoko Asahara, Augusto Pinochet (responsible for a fatal car bombing in Washington DC years ago that no-one cares about anymore), and the Real IRA etc. etc. is even less clear.
Does ugliness cause stupidity?
$10 says he’s got a hand down his pants.
Augusto Pinochet (responsible for a fatal car bombing in Washington DC years ago that no-one cares about anymore)
Nearing 30 years…I haven’t forgotten because I knew the young woman killed in the bombing. The US Puppetmasters were not at all enthusiastic about pursuing that bit of terrorism on US soil and have just let it fade with time. And so it goes.
Well, the UN was the only entity not blamed for the attacks by the 9/11 commision. Might as well blame them too.
Why did God make Lucom stupid?
Did you know Lucom has a running role in Tom Tomorrow’s “This Modern World”? Look: http://www.salon.com/comics/tomo/2004/06/28/tomo/index1.html That’s him, dissing Eric Alterman.
Is there any progress yet on the story of Mr. Lucom’s service in the FDR administration?
And by the way, did he ever serve in the military or is he just another member of the Iraq War Pom-Pom Brigade, like Rush, Amber and Annthrax?
It is a fact that cannot be denied: You would not be reading this comment if I were a technophobe that hated computers.
Therefore, hating computers is wrong.
Thinking like a moron is fun…
Actually, my mention of Pincohet was more apposite than I first realised. Lucom ran an anti-Allende newspaper back in the early 70’s, and according to Right Web (an anti-right site), Lucom’s “AIM has been a prominent supporter of the Chilean Lobby in the past. The Chilean Lobby supported the military government under Augusto Pinochet that came into power through a coup in 1973.”
Lucom himself, quoted on AIM:
“Judging from the attention given to the “human rights” question in Chile, one might think that this small South American country posed the most serious problem for the violation of human rights in the world today. Chile has about the same population as Cambodia had before the Communists took over there. As a result of the murderous communist policies, it is estimated that up to a million Cambodians have perished in the past year, one-seventh of the population. One occasionally reads about this massive genocide in our press, but there is no uproar in this country about Cambodia. Of course, those who helped bring this about by cutting off aid to Cambodia would like to sweep the whole ugly matter under the rug. They would much rather scream about violations of human rights in Chile, even though such violations pale into insignificance in comparison with what is going on in Cambodia and Vietnam.”
Back in a more innocent age (2000) the Miami Herald stated that the Pinochet-sponsored Washinton car bombing “is still considered the most serious act of international terrorism ever committed in the U.S. capital.”

Everyone has to remember Iraq caused 9/11, & my dog ate my homework.
Like I said last time.
And so goes another round of the bash. Sometimes I don’t even remember why I get out of bed in the morning. But I guess it’s too late to reverse the decision.
