Die Neue 107.7, Stuttgart’s newest radio station (so they say) has a new advertising campaign here (not exactly work safe.) The best [?] part is that the picture is featured on billboard ads throughout the city, albeit in a slighlty edited form. The slogan? We have the rock. So check out the ad and if you don’t get it, we’re sure we can count on Pete M. to explain.

Wait, doesn’t Rock mean skirt? “We have the rock” is also “We’ve got your skirt (and thus you are naked and here is your ass).”

I thought maybe the “rock” in “We have the rock” was a German idiom akin to North America’s “wood.”

As long as Die Neue 107.7 doesn’t have Seb’s Rock, I think the ad is fantastic. If they do have it…well, our sincerest apologies to the Stuttgartensia.

Well, there was a cigarette campaign with the tagline “Think Dick” that appeared on street kiosks all over Germany. “Dick”, by the way, means thick or fat in German. Can’t find an online pic, though…
Now that’s some excellent advertising. How pathetic is america that we have to worry about looking at the ad on our work computers and Stuttgart’s got it all over the place on billboards?
Tell us, has civilization crashed there yet? and if not, can you please invite all out fundies there and make their heads explode?
