Sens. Specter (R-PA) & Kerry (D-MA) submitted amendment No. 2021 stating that Congress hereby exercises its power to forbid judicial reliance on presidential signing statements as a source of authority in the interpretation of acts of Congress.

Fellow Virginian Warner is staging an end-run around Webb.

I could use a Brooks vs. Sumner moment right about now. Yes, I know violence is bad, m’kay, but honor must be upheld. If they can’t restore Habeas, they can at least restore the tradition of Senate floor beatdowns.
