I have a vision folks, so there’s no need to worry!

Well, as long as the man sees something, the need to be concerned is no longer operative:

My job is to do my job I’m going to do it the way I think is necessary. I’m going to set a vision. I will lead and we’ll just let the chips fall where they may.

Meanwhile, today in Iraq another two dozen chips fell where they may. For the last time. (Please choose one of the following: desperate or major blow.)

Thanks to Blair for the first link.

In unrelated news, are you doing your part to stiffen your national image?

yeah, that ‘let the chips fall where they may’ was really something.

Bush is going down. Michael Moore is going to go down in history as the guy who did him in.

“Bring em on! Let the chips fall where they may!”

Mmm…chips. On second thought, gimme some popcorn instead…

He doesn’t say he has a vision. That would be too coherent and grammatical. He says “I’m going to set a vision.” Which sounds like a mistranslation of “I’m gonna set a spell” or whatever Jed used to say on Green Acres. Hmmm….

And are you sure he didn’t say “let the chimps fall where they may”?

Hey, it worked for Arbusto.

“I’m going to set a vision..”
That enables him to change that vision as needed, as we have seen.
