For Gary Wif Luv

This picture is for Gary Ruppert, whom I’ve missed dearly:

And this:

And:

• 60% say the prison sentence should have been left in place.

• 21% agree with the commutation.

• 17% say Libby should have been pardoned entirely.

Since when is gary a yanks fan?
He’s from missouri, he’s a Card fan.

But the fact is, is it Gary?

He seems to be much more of an attention troll than he used to be (and we know attention trolls around these parts, yes?).

Nope, Ruppert’s a Yanks fan. Sorry to tell you, but it’s true. I’m serious, too. Not making it up.

Cards.
In any case, low blow.
Some Yanks fans are lefties, and were having bad days already.

Yes, it’s Gary. And here’s teh proof that he’s a Yanks fan.

Sorry, different brad, but your team is flat-out evil 😉

Probably more of a “let’s piss off the mostly Sox fans here more” fan, I’ll guess.

Red Sox fans don’t need Yanks fans to piss them off. That’s what the Red Sox are for.

Considering how quickly the poll was done, 38/60 is pretty good. I’d imagine the true rate of approval is around 53% with 45% disapproving.

The fact is that 38/60, without hearing anything except leftist media spin, is relatively good.

58% of Republicans approving is a bit small, 22% of Democrats approving suggest that a majority of Americans support this, and 41% of independents disapproving is actually one of the better Bush showings amongst Independents.

As well, the sampling on this poll was slanted to the left.

SurveyUSA thinks that the partisan split of America is 41% Democratic, 29% Republican, and 29% Independent

Hey Bradrocket, did you catch Jacoby Ellsbury scoring on that wild pitch from second?

I would like to point out that he’s an Oregon State kid.

Marita- yes. I almost feel sorry for poor Coco, who has worked his ass off to get better this year and is watching his future replacement take his job.

Well, CNN did a poll that they took their sweet time with, and it’s actually worse for Bush.

68% disapproved of the idea of a pardon, while only 18% approved.

Imagine all you want, Gary, but the vast majority of the country is on the other side.

41% of independents disapproving is actually one of the better Bush showings amongst Independents.

Yeah, independents don’t hate Bush as much as they usually do! Awesome!

Break out the fucking champagne, moron boy. You’ve earned it.

I just loved that! For Gary, his imagination is more real than reality.

Hilarious!

Our commander in chief governs by wisdom, not the ignorance of the masses.

4 out of 5 people who want governance by polls vote Clinton. Even after they’re dead!

He seems to be much more of an attention troll than he used to be (and we know attention trolls around these parts, yes?).

Sadly, Yes.

Our commander in chief governs by wisdom, not the ignorance of the masses.

You transposed some words there.

It’s OK.

Happens to the best of us.

This is sick! Bush’s disappproval rating is almost as bad as Pelosi’s, Reid’s, or even the entire Democratic Congress’ is!

Our commander in chief governs by wisdom.

I LOL’d.

I DID say ‘almost’, didn’t I? Because they are trailing him in double digits, as bad as he is.

Hmph. Everything is fine here.

Maybe it’s time to upgrade your Windows 95 wonder-computer from 1997.

“The Sentence was commuted! The Sentence was commuted!”

It’ll fun listening to these stupid fucks sing that for awhile, BUT the CONVICTION still stands.

George Bush just CONFIRMED that criminals in his administration broke the law, threatened National Security, Lied to cover it up and CONTINUE to do so.

Laugh it up dipshits!

33 months of “hardy har hard time” for Libby vs. an ADMISSION OF GUILT from Dubya?

Is it just me or is Kevin teh lam3r? The fact is, Gary is the better troll on his worst day. Too bad INS is rapidly catching up with him.

I’d probably get all heated up over the commutation of Mr. Libby’s sentence if every rational person I know hadn’t been sure from the minute he was indicted that, no matter what the verdict, Mr. Libby wouldn’t spend a day in a cell.

Looks like business as usual in a dead republic.

Isn’t the Artist Formerly Known as the INS now called ICE? Or is that another incompetently managed department of Mr. Bush’s (alleged) government?

“The fact is that 38/60, without hearing anything except leftist media spin, is relatively good.

Yeah. Damn leftwing liberal Fox News.

“22% of Democrats approving suggest that a majority of Americans support this,”

Wow. That’s some… Flatland logic, there. I’m not sure you fully grasp how to read polls or statistics…

And yeah, Kevin is, technically, correct regarding Congress approval ratings.
http://www.galluppoll.com/content/?ci=27937
Of course, they were this low before the Dems took power, anyways, so it’s not like they’re really gone “down” at all. And it’s no surprise that congress is wallowing in ineffectionalism, considering that the Repubs have done everything in their power to obstruct real change and progress for America.

They came out with a Windows 97?!? Simba, everything is NOT fine here as even the handlers will note. My offer to you still stands though, but I’ll need some kind of notice, since I plan on disemboweling the lies here with a big injection (insert liberal humor here) of truth on a number of threads.

Owl… 1) the conviction still stands because BUSH SAYS it still stands. Are you commending Bush? And 2) A basically innocent guy was forced to pay a pittance of his net worth,. Woohoo! What a big win for… whoever you stand for! I guess it would be a huge sum for you or me, or an owl. And Owlbears don’t accumulate wealth at all (it’s more of a dice thing than an effort thing that determines your net worth), so it would rock their world!

So no doubt Bush sucks for not outright pardoning Libby, and every border guy ever, but in Libby’s case… heeee’ll prolly be alright.

When does the Wilson scumbaggery case start?

Kevin knows all about web pages not loading quickly enough.

He’s been comparing the load times on S,N! with his favorite webpage all day now, and remains unsatisified.

(hint: link is NSFW)

Yes, yes slavish devotion to authority. We get it.

Hmmm…………..doesn’t the felony conviction that remains on Scooter’s record bar him from any sort of federal employment where he might handle sensitive information?

I smell a Heritage Foundation appointment coming up!

I’m tellin’ you man, you’re just whistling Dixie. Gary says A. You pull out a poll that says B, not A. Gary says “poll wrong, poll biased and slanted, me right”. Most predictable thing in the world.

Alas Jillian, that’s another onea them outmoded laws that only apply to people who aren’t in the club.
Check out digby’s top post. Rove just had his clearance renewed.

“the conviction still stands because BUSH SAYS it still stands.”

Sorry, Kev. The power of the president to pardon or commute doesn’t do a thing for convictions. A pardoned criminal is always still a convicted criminal. In fact, in accepting a pardon or commutation, the convicted criminal is making a de facto admisison of guilt. You may like to believe that Bush has the ability to simply erase convictions, but no president has that power.

SO, owlbears statement is still true: Bush has admitted that one of his administration’s flunkies broke the law.

kevin, that’s some good satire there. i actually laughed. though…the mojito might have had something to do with my easily amused state right now.

I skip Kevin’s posts, tho I read the replies with great amusment. Is this Gary the same Gary of old? He sounds different. Maybe changed meds (I did).

I just hope Bush’s action today isn’t a precursor for bombing Iran.

DirtyFuckingHippie

Just hazarding a guess here, but I think that Kevin is really Lil Debbie Schlussel, minus the penis.

Our commander in chief governs by wisdom, not the ignorance of the masses.

That’d be
Wanton Violence/Crime
Impudence/Hate
Sexual Immorality
Drugs/Alcohol
Offense to God
Murder/Suicide

This post is ill-advised.

It is helping to guarantee a resurgence.

For the Yankees; Bush is totally fucked. But now I read this, It’s guaranteed that the Yankees start hitting, make the wildcard, and beat my Mets in the Series.

You…. bastard. Why you tempt fate like this?

“This picture is for Gary Ruppert…”

I thought it was who has to wear a hockey helmet all of the time, or at least until they put in a permanent metal plate.

Hey, what happened to preview?

Let’s try this again –

“This picture is for Gary Ruppert…”

I thought it was Kevin who has to wear a hockey helmet all of the time, or at least until they put in a permanent metal plate.

And how many Clinton officials were indicted for felonies while holding their office? This is the best part of all of this; 27%ers claiming victory when one of their loyal Bushies doesn’t get as severe a sentence for their felony as they could have.

Ha ha! Take that, LIEberals!

I tip my hat to the Yankees, a great team to hate. And good for baseball.

46 year old Indians fan. Looking pretty good this year. About the sixth time in my life.

Servile ass-sniffers BWA-HAHAing when one their “betters” gets off free for a crime that would send them to prison. It really has to suck to be that much of a tool.

Hey, that reminds me. Does anyone know what happened with that “No Confidence” vote on Gonzales?

And remember, kiddies: rule of law isn’t important when you have high-level friends. America by Mafia!

Hmmm…………..doesn’t the felony conviction that remains on Scooter’s record bar him from any sort of federal employment where he might handle sensitive information?

Perhaps he could get a Fox News show with another popular GOP felon… The Liddy and Libby Hour. Sounds snappy. They could have Ollie North in from time to time.

Libby, Ollie, Liddy

hehe

WTF?! Gary is actually Andy Pettitte?

Woohoo! What a big win for… whoever you stand for!

Does it feel good when you piss on America?

Listen, assclown, if you want to live in a country ruled by a dictator who thinks he’s doing God’s will, there are plenty of third-world shitholes for you to run to. No need to tear down our fine country to make you feel at home.

My personal concern is, after the Tigers beat the Red Sox for the AL championship, Bush will exercise his pardon and commutation powers to send the Yankees to the World Series . . .

Bush will exercise his pardon and commutation powers to send the Yankees to the World Series . . .

Oh, I wish. Because then we’d finally see the impeachment ball get rolling.

“basically innocent” apparently means absolutely guilty.

Congress is trailing Bush approval by double digits? Yeah, I know Congress sux and all right now, but not that far below the resident Dumb-ass. Of course, Little Kevie and Co. will just make shit up anyway.
27% vs. 24%.

Woo-Hoo! Bush rules! Right?

BTW, I thought we decided that Ruppert was a little Mexican immigrant boy who liked to fuck with this site? No?

Go Oakland A’s of Fremont! you’re heroes even if I will never pay a dime to see you play ever again!

It’s funny because it’s true.

wai.. wai… wai……. if accepting the commutation of his sentence means that Libby is implicitly admitting his guilt, why is he continuing with his appeal. Or, rather, how can he possibly think he can prevail on appeal?
