[Chuckle, Snicker] “Hey Abdullah, Switch The Lamps
In This One.”
Shorter Little Green Footballs
More Terrorist Propaganda from Reuters
- Ah, but the strawberries — that’s where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes, but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt, with geometric logic, that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox did exist…
‘Shorter’ concept created by Daniel Davies and perfected by Elton Beard.
Update: Ol’ Chuckles Johnson has blocked us again. Copy and paste the link (instead of clicking) for details on the International Muslim Conspiracy to Sneakily Move Furniture Around, which is certain to hasten the arrival of the Global Caliphate, praise Allah.
D. Aristophanes adds: Chuckles always trends towards cognitive dissonance, but this post’s brain-splodey quotient is off the charts. Really, the heads-I-win-tails-you-loseism on display is staggering.
Consider that Johnson originally accused a Reuters stringer of helping a subject arrange the background for a photo shoot:
Again we see the Reuters wire service being exploited by terrorist groups, as their Palestinian stringer Mohammed Salem apparently participated in arranging the background of a photograph in Gaza, replacing an image of dead terror leader Ahmed Yassin with one of a smiling Ismail Haniyeh …
Reuters apparently takes people like Chuckles more seriously than they ought to, because they replied:
Photographers from Reuters and other news organizations were at the house taking pictures when one of Haniyeh’s sons decided he wanted a picture of his father on the wall, so he put it up in place of the one of Sheikh Yassin, in mid-photo shoot. We did not censor our shots by, for example, only using the pictures with Haniyeh’s photo in them, and we can’t very well stop people from rearranging their homes as they see fit. Indeed, both of those photos went out, side by side, to our photo clients: GBU Editor
Game-set-match, Reuters, one would think. But recall that we’re playing Charlesball, where the goalposts don’t so much move, as they disappear and reappear randomly, the field pitches and yaws with sickening violence, and every so often, hidden trapdoors release a troop of purple-assed baboons flinging poo.
Thus, Charles replies to Reuters’ explanation with this:
… Of course they can’t “very well stopâ€? these people from doing it; they’ll get shot if they try.
[Gavin adds: So true. Sometimes Islamic Muslimists get a yen to move the couch where the recliner is, and vice versa, and when they ask you to move your feet, the life you save may be your own.]
Yeah! What sort of jackass would suggest that Reuters photographers are rearranging the furniture in the homes of “terrorists?” What kind of numbnuts would ever publicly say such a thing on his public blog, which goes out to the public on the publicly accessible World Wide Web and is conveniently reached by members of the public possessing computers by typing “www.littlegreenfootballs.com” in their browsers, clicking their heels together three times and repeating, “There’s no place like dumb!”
[Gavin adds: Not only that, but he really hates when we make fun of him. It bruises his dignity or something.]
FRIST!1! or close…except that this post posting ate my comment on the previous thread (No great loss…)
Is the gummint or Fox or somebody pouring molasses in your webtÛbz? to keep the TRUTH of 9/11 away from us?
Well, that little shit did his usual redirect thing. Coward. If you can’t stand up to Sadly, No!, how can you stand up to the terrorists, Chuck?
Wait, so, Hammas changes some photographs on the wall and LGF thinks it will make America surrender to the global caliphate faster? And they don’t want us to read about it via Sadly, No? Sweet Jesus those people are messed up.
Well, that little shit did his usual redirect thing. Coward. If you can’t stand up to Sadly, No!, how can you stand up to the terrorists, Chuck?
No kidding. It must be nice to be so sure that you’re right that you can’t risk having anyone read what you have to say.
Can someone just screencap what the post says when he does this, or should we just reproduce choice quotes from his piece in the comments?
Oh, wow. Not even worth posting what’s written there. Anyone who’s dying to see, copy and paste (don’t click):
http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/?entry=25860_More_Terrorist_Propaganda_from_Reuters&only
Really, makes Captain Queeg look reasonable, doesn’t it?
And does anyone else mistake Charles Johnson for Ward Churchill? I think it’s the atrocious hair.
LGF apparently doesn’t know about “Copy Link Location” and “Paste”.
Shhh. Don’t tell them. Their ignorance makes them feel safe and secure and secluded.
I like the update:
AP: He changed the paintings during the shoot.
LGF: FURTHER PROOF THAT YOU’RE TERRORISTS LOL!
Such brilliant thinkers.
I likey this comment from mglazer
So apparently because Reuters didn’t go “Die
nazicommieislamofascist scum when they changed some photographs and perhaps rearranged the furniture, they are guilty of mass murder and are possibly being paid to do so.Help! I’m trapped in server molasses quicksand hell. But as governor stupid said, “I’ll be back”…
mikey
That’s really funny, His Grace, how outraged he gets at his own strawman.
Well, that little shit did his usual redirect thing.
He’s just trying to keep us out of it because he knows our silly comments will detract from the gravity of this serious crisis in Palestinian picture arrangement.
A pretty epicly dumb controversy.
I pity the commenters; they must be totally unable to stand TV, poor dears. And presidential photo ops reduce them to tears.
OMG!!!1 THEY CHANGED THE PICTURE OF YASSIN TO ONE OF YASSIN AND HANIYEH!!! THEY ARE EXPERT PROPAGANDISTS!!!! TERRISTS!!! GOEBBELS!!!!!1
It’s soooo unethical for photojournalists to participate in the staging of a photograph! How dare they!
The bastards!
Chuck, Chuck, Chuck…
Chuck
Your fear is really stinkin’ up the place.
Jesus. You could chop wood with that face.
Oh, and Chuck. Steely Dan called. They want their hair back.
Further proof I don’t watch cable news: I had no idea that they were allowing little shits like Chuckles to actually
usewaste their twenty-four hours of depravity.“You are A Idiot?” Talk about yer projection…
These demos of change blindness probably have little to do with the Global War Against Journalism, but they amuse me no end.
The ol’ formula of:
TERRORISM – FOR REALZ THIS TIME !eleven!!1
dutifully follwed by:
UPDATE:
Again, it turned out to be nothing, but we wingnuts gladly fall for it every time.
It was funny the first thousand times.
To demonstrate further how stoopid lgf commentators are, read the comment by galloping granny.

If you look at the two photos, the top photo shows those pictures hanging nice & straight. The only “damage” is a small hole with missing plaster in the upper right section of the facing wall and what appears to be a scorch mark (perhaps with a bullet) on the right hand wall. In the lower picture, the photos have not only been replaced, they are now crooked as if knocked off kilter by an explosion – or bomb hit.
The second photo also shows the pictures hanging nice and straight, it is just that the stupid cow is too dumb to realize it. Hasn’t the fuckwit ever heard of perspective?

Firefox — the RefControl extension — a complete answer
Of course, it only matters if you want to visit that site. Generally, I’m happy that Gavin and Brad and Retardo/HTML/Whatever are willing to risk eyeball haemorrhage in my stead.
“Hasn’t the fuckwit ever heard of perspective?”
Nurse! New ironometer for Al-In_Arabia! Stet!
BTW, just got back from Beirut for third time this year. It’s quite amazing how well the Islamonazis stage managed that whole Lebanon non-war was last year. I mean, whole sections of the city are still rubble! How long can they keep up this pretense, especially considering Charles, Ace, Jawa et al proved conclusively that the entire war was a clever PR stunt by Hezbollah, and no-one got hurt at all.
Wow,
According to Alexa, Little Green Fascists’ page views are way down this year…below its 2003 level:

Wasn’t he the bad guy in ‘Kindergarten Cop’?
What sort of jackass would suggest that Reuters photographers are rearranging the furniture in the homes of “terrorists?
Yeah, what have the Palestineans ever done to deserve the inhuman horror of House Makeover reality-TV?
A perfect example of why, speaking as a parent, I personally refer to it as “the diaper full of little green footballs”.
Again we see the Reuters wire service being exploited by terrorist groups, as their Palestinian stringer Mohammed Salem apparently participated in arranging the background of a photograph in Gaza, replacing an image of dead terror leader Ahmed Yassin with one of a smiling Ismail Haniyeh
Maybe it’s because I just woke up, but I don’t see how switching pictures would help the terrorists. Doesn’t someone have to gain something for a conspiracy theory to have legs?
I think Ol’ Chucky’s behind your DOS attacks, too. I couldn’t get this page to load last night.
This flash-animated self-censorship is bizarre. I wonder if he does that with all incoming links from unfriendly sources. It seems counter-productive. And we all remember the whining that resulted from this
Didn’t he use to redirect to the IDF website? What’s up with that?
First time I ever visited the LGF site. My God, if you substituted “black” or “Jew” for “Muslim”, the ACLU would have to go all out to keep them on the air. What a disgusting, racist…..words fail me. Absolute filth. Time for a shower.
Perhaps I’m seeing what I want to see in Reuters’ response, but I note a bit of impatience, especially in the phrase “we can’t very well stop people.”
As D. Aristophanes notes above, Reuters’ explanation should have brought this non-controversy to a rapid close, but intrepid wingnut Brian L. ain’t going out like that. In the comments to the Reuters blog, he asks:
Emphasis his. Brian L.’s blog snapped shot, which claims to subject mainstream media imagery to rigorous critical scrutiny but for the most part consists of news blurbs about conflict in the Middle East and pictures of brown-skinned men with automatic weapons and their faces covered, is, in my opinion, not worth visiting.
Simba B. said: “You are A Idiot? Talk about yer projection…
Worse than that, it’s illiterate projection.
as well as there traffic being well down, they had a couple of computer crashes over the past 2 weeks, that old $4 mil running a bit low there, Charles?
http://lgfwatch.blogspot.com/
I was going to comment on the apparent inability of LGF hangers-on to comprehend perspective, as demonstrated by the “crooked pictures” comment, but blowback beat me to it.
So I’ll just ask this, direct to Chuckles:
What part of “Indeed, both of those photos went out, side by side, to our photo clients” do you not understand?
I wonder how long before it becomes “Reuters did this to make us look bad!”
Oh no. You’re missing the big conspiracy here. I ask you, what group in the world is most responsible for interior decoration, set decoration, staging and art? That’s right, friends and neighbors, that would be the Gay hordes with their gay agenda and their, er, godless gayness.
So who is Reuters turning to to help them provide propaganda for all muslim terrorists all over the world? Well, it appears the answer to that would be interior decorators. So what we actually have here is evidence of a massive conspiracy between the Emm-Ess-Emm, the islamofascists and the Gays. Soon, america will be flouncing and mincing while reciting the Q’uran. That will certainly signal the death of america, freedom and liberty…
mikeyh
Soon, america will be flouncing and mincing while reciting the Q’uran.
Yow! I’ll bet the founding fathers never imagined that.
That will certainly signal the death of america, freedom and liberty…
But our living rooms will look stunning.
Not only that, but he really hates when we make fun of him. It bruises his dignity or something.
Does this apply only to Sadly, No!, or is it universal?
Because I’m pretty sure everyone in the entire world except for Fox News and the talentless 28%ers think of Chuckles Johnson as a demented fuckwit.
No wonder he’s always flailing about in impotent rage about nothing. His ‘dignity’ must be black and blue, like, every fucking day.
I really love the fact that the LGF redirect goes to a page that announces, verbatim: “You’re a idiot.”
Genius.
So can someone tell me how the switched photos help the Terra-ists?
I keep clicking the link so I can see the animation. It’s hypnotic and, in some weird way, perfectly encapsulates the wingnutty goodness we all know and love. The misplaced “a?” That’s gravy, my friends–it puts this thing up there with the morans who need to get a brain.
So many winners to be found in teh depths of rampant stupidity:

As Hamas was the “military wing” of the Abbas government, Reuters is the “media wing”, of Hamas, as well as all Islamofascist sub human butchers.
*********************
But don’t you DARE call them bigots.
I heard that Chuckles killed 16 Czechoslovakians unasissted. The guy’s an interior designer.
But his house looks like shit.
You can always circumvent LGF’s link-blocking scheme by using a Google redirect link for them. I give instructions here.
Charles Johnson looks like a combination of Jeffrey Tambor shaved and the killer from “Body Double.”
Notorious P.A.T.: Maybe it’s because I just woke up, but I don’t see how switching pictures would help the terrorists. Doesn’t someone have to gain something for a conspiracy theory to have legs?
Just as anything done by the USA is, to LGF, automatically right, anything done by a Muslim is, to them, automatically wrong. That includes deciding you’d like a picture of your dad in an internationally syndicated photo.
In LGFland, a TV reporter should respond with deadly force to a “Hi Mom” sign in the background*. And it doesn’t matter that it was in a private home (brilliant constitutional lawyer Mark Noonan having successfully established there’s no right to privacy in the USA, and therefore, anywhere). Any proper photographer should have a bomb concealed in his equipment, just in case. Better a martyr for the cause of No Freedom of Interior Decorating, than to take snaps in dhimmi-feng-shui-itude!
* If it’s held by a Muslim, of course. A “Hi Mom” placard held by a Christian is proof of belief in motherhood and apple pie, and thus A Good Thing. If it’s held by an atheist, they should be slung in Guantanamo, for enhanced theological interrogation.
[…] somehow, despite a heavy schedule of getting facts wrong and touting zany conspiracy theories, right-wing solons such as Charles keep whiffing even these attempts at fact-averse, bong-hit […]
