True story: I went to see The Ring by myself. Large theater, nearly empty. Some guy comes in and sits in the row in front of me, one seat to my left. Halfway through the movie I notice he starts shaking, because he’s holding up a paper near his face and it’s vibrating.

I’m just sitting there, munching on my popcorn, and he turns around to stare at me for a full ten seconds. When he turned back toward the screen, I got up and moved way to the back of the theater near some other people. I couldn’t see him anymore (really big theater), and a couple of times during the movie I thought I heard noises, so I had to turn around to see if he had sneaked up behind me.

The movie was creepy as hell, but that experience was even creepier.

Damn cookies. That last post was me, not The Colonel.

Oh, and long story short, we were married six weeks later.

I have to note no one used this idea.

Just think, you could have sprayed Pam, and then photoshopped into the Pam spray images of wingnut Pam.

I was just watching Larry King Live for some inexplicable reason, when I saw a familiar face– it was a wingnut I met in a bar in DC last year. Turns out she is a conservatard pundit, maybe you guys know her– Amy Holmes. We got into it pretty good about her old boss, Bill Frist. Apparently she was a speechwriter for that asshole. It got pretty nasty. It kind of ended like this:

Did you see the bit about Obama? Digby has it up at her place. It’s a fucking trainwreck. Basically, all they got is that Obama is popular, and that his initials are B.O. Other than that it’s just thinly veiled race baiting. The tone is really weird and stilted, and there’s an overbearing laugh track added to spice up the “jokes.”

They should have hired Dennis Miller, which is a real testament to what a piece of shit this thing is.

i just watched the first clip, and actually it was better. The “BO” magazine was kinda clever cuz it wasn’t just making a farty-joke pun, it was taking a swipe at Oprah, who i think endorsed obama. you know her “O” magazine? beyond that tho, the thing was atrocious.

Exactly. The last time I saw Photoshopping this good was when the had Atlas Pammy eating the baby bunny. There, too, it took me several moments (not at all influenced by Pammy’s tendency to lunacy) to figure out that it was a Photoshop job.
