Reading about Piers Morgan’s latest tweet reminded me of an old classic: The 2003 essay “The Pussification Of The Western Male” by Kim du Toit (such memories!):
I want our literature to become more male, less female. Men shouldn’t buy “self-help” books unless the subject matter is car maintenance, golf swing improvement or how to disassemble a f***ing Browning BAR. We don’t improve ourselves, we improve our stuff.
Of course, that in turn reminded me of another “classic” — The Dickification of the Western Female:

And “Browning B.A.R.” is redundant, du Toit. Whaddya think the “B.” stands for?

Marched today. Was great to see lots of women with their children and loved ones surrounding them. I’m afraid of the future, but today I was pretty proud to be an American.
He’s revealing a lot about himself with this tweet… maybe he can undergo hormone replacement therapy.

The B.A.R. was ancient when my 77-year-old father was in the Army.
Nothing like keeping up to date on your cultural references.
Got into an amusing fight on FB last evening with Teh Ho’s brother in law, who posted a pic of some woman at one of the marches with a sign calling for some kind of violent shit. His commentary: “We allow them to vote and drive and this is how they repay us!”
Piers Morgan, poor imitation of a penised person that he is, is an argument for retroactive abortion.

Typed the first comment above, submitted, the page refreshed but the comment didn’t appear. Did some dicking about w/ back, reload, yada, but it still wasn’t showing, so I typed & submitted the complaining comment,; the first one then appeared w/ the second one.
So really more of a delay than full disappearance.
(While bitching, having to click twice to fill in the name & mail fields is irksome. Is this an anti-troll &/or phony registration deal?)
