So a Bunch of White Dudes Get their Shooty on!

And thus we are exposed to a heaping helping of Cricketry…It is almost like I would be a racist for asking a random white person on the street to explain to this not white person what the fuck was the reason for the shootout at the Waco Corral….Allright, thanks again to Roy, I have to pause for a moment to process some substantial Derp. This shitload will feature: Kevin Williamson, a colostomy bag of wingnut welfare, and in advance, I wish to apologize for colostomy bags, for the insult.

A Gunfight, Not a Riot: What Happened in Waco

Not exactly sure that I can attribute this to ‘illiamson as it is the title of the piece and might have LoadBerg, or J-Loads prints on it, but lets take a bite or three, while wagering on the thug quotient that is likely to follow…In case you have yet to notice it is kind of my thing to react to this shit as I read it, and then drop the mike when my dErp-meter pegs….

“A gunfight, not a riot…”

An Apple, not an Orange, would be my first reaction, were I not sensitive to a multiplicity of dog-whistles…

Lets see….On the one hand we have a garden variety conflict between competing tribal segments of White folk, just having a good olde tymie SCA-style Cos/Gun play reenactment of High Noon at the OK Corral, and on the other hand we have Nigger, Nigger, Nigger! Thug! Did I mention Niggers, whose demonstration of power is limited to tearing up a place, and not keeping Mr Williamson out of a Tory neighborhood? I know, fucking bowel evacuating terrifying, the NigNogs exercising the meager-ist of power….Anyhoo, I now have to actually read this shit.

The shootout between members of rival outlaw motorcycle gangs in Waco has brought out a great deal of stupidity on the left — too much stupidity to catalogue, in fact. But let us look at a few lowlights.

Takes one to ken another is something that comes to mind…

Making the comparison with Baltimore, many on the left — Salon’s Jenny Kutner, to take an example — demanded to know why the media did not describe the events in Waco as a “riot.” The answer, obviously enough, is that the event in Waco was not a riot — it did not represent a general state of civil disorder, there were no mobs targeting property for destruction, etc. What happened in Waco was accurately described — in the New York Times, the Waco Tribune, USA Today, and many other outlets — as a gunfight. Also chaos, biker gang shooting, the work of very dangerous, hostile criminal biker gangs, and, in case that is not strong enough for your taste, something akin to a war zone.

In other words, a débutante ball in comparison. let us look at a definition of the word that sticks in this shithead’s craw:

ri·ot
?r??t/
noun
noun: riot; plural noun: riots

1.
a violent disturbance of the peace by a crowd.
“riots broke out in the capital”
synonyms: uproar, commotion, upheaval, disturbance, furor, tumult, melee, scuffle, fracas, fray, brawl, free-for-all; More
violence, fighting, vandalism, mayhem, turmoil, lawlessness, anarchy, violent protest
“a riot in the capital”

“a riot of emotions raged through Frances”

2.
an impressively large or varied display of something.
“the garden was a riot of color”
synonyms: mass, sea, splash, show, exhibition
“the garden was a riot of color”
3.
informal
a highly amusing or entertaining person or thing.
“everyone thought she was a riot”

verb
verb: riot; 3rd person present: riots; past tense: rioted; past participle: rioted; gerund or present participle: rioting

1.
take part in a violent public disturbance.
“students rioted in Paris”
synonyms: rampage, go on the rampage, run riot, fight in the streets, run wild, run amok, go berserk;
informalraise hell
“the miners rioted”

It would, in fact, seem that the melee in Waco would meet the definition quite nicely, but let’s get back to Kevin’s desire to box riot, rioting, riotous behavior into a thing that only African Americans do. Because if anything, Kevin’s entire oeuvre, is predicated on the “WhiteManWashing” of anything that might put a dent in the privilege he so stridently enjoys.

What happened in Baltimore was not a gunfight. (It might have been a gunfight if it had been attempted in or around Waco.) Which is not to say that bikers are never involved in riots: The modern outlaw biker mythology is very much rooted in a riot in Hollister, Calif., known in the history books as — can you guess? — the “Hollister riot,” during which such forerunners of the modern motorcycle gang as the Pissed Off Bastards of Bloomington and the Market Street Commandos treated Hollister as though it were Baltimore.

This guy gets a paycheck for this bullshit, probably by the fucking word…Anyhoo, there is a jackass at Reason that seems to need his snark decoder ring replaced, or so I am told…

This weekend’s deadly brawl and shootout involving more than 170 alleged biker gang members at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas, has seemed to capture the left’s imagination, not for the gruesome details of the violence but because of the perceived differences between the way this story was played out, covered and engaged with and, depending on who you ask, either black on black violence or the police reform protest movement.

Totally not a riot. Nope, not one at all, nothing to see here, lets move on to blaming the Niggers for their problems, when of course we are not blaming them for ours…

The emphasis, (mine of course) is just to highlight another example of prose that secures a paycheck…It is possible that the word salad that ends the graph under observation might make a semblance of sense, so shall we?

The comparisons to the police reform protests are the more problematic of the two. The Atlantic’s Ta-Nehisi Coates seemed to make that comparison in a series of tweets Monday night that emulating right-wing reactions to the police protest movement. One curious tweet asks “Why won’t America’s biker gangs be more like Dr. Martin Luther King?” What is the comparison Coates is trying to draw?

“…curious…?!?!? One opens ones mouth and any doubt that may have remained is destroyed by the begging question…

If If there were violent protesters in Baltimore with legitimate grievances—and they were urged by some to be more peaceful—does Coates believe the bikers, too, had some kind of legitimate grievances at the Twin Peaks restaurant? If he doesn’t believe so, does he believe there are white people out there who believe that? I certainly haven’t heard or read anything about either the bike gangs allegedly involved or anyone in the press trying to ascribe legitimate grievances to the thugs at the restaurant.

Assinine questions aside, I think this graph was simply a means to set-up the opportunity to burnish his equal opportunity street cred with the application of “thugs”…

Would be almost too clever by half if the proceeding queries were not completely witless gibberish.

Coates, like other left-leaning pundits, also glommed on to the distraction of the moment about the supposed racially charged nature of the word “thug,” asking why no one was calling the bikers thugs (except most of his hundred fifty thousand Twitter followers and the rest of the left-wing Twitterverse, as well as a good portion of the right-wing Twitterverse). The argument over thug blew up when some protests in Baltimore turned violent and began to be co-opted by the kind of people who want to riot and loot (like the two Baltimore corrections officers charged last week—what legitimate grievances could willing and paid participants in a system being protested against hold, and how would snacks at a convenience store come into play?). The argument was that thug was simply a code word for nigger. Tonight Show band leader Questlove made the point on Twitter after Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake called rioters and looters who appeared in the streets the afternoon and evening after Freddie Gray’s funeral on Monday, April 27, “thugs.”

Honestly did not see that one coming…Must have made several days in certain corners of the ‘trons, this tortured excuse to employ the thing that everybody is thinking, but is to scared to say out loud. Did I mention that this asshole probably got paid for this piece?

One last sentence, because, well, a combination of WTF, and sheer astonishment are elicited by its recitation.

That weekend before, Rawlings-Blake appeared to be trying to keep cops on a hands-off approach to what were largely peaceful protests.

Yeah, this guy wrote that shite

This guy just hit the pipe

Sorry, just posted this in the previous thread. Now it’s too early to go off topic but goddamn this shit gets my blood boiling.

I’ll read this new post shortly and try to have an on-topic comment.

This is why outing self-loathing cocksucking kapos is not only okay, it’s a fucking duty.

Pup, never too early to go OT. On my shit anyway…

how many times can the NRL crowd deliberately miss the point, winsome white bikies are just expressing their rights whereas low slung dusky hued protestors are thugs in the throwl of race baiting huxters . rinse and repeat.

Really, let’s face it. It’s probably the fault of the waitresses for not putting out and forcing those nice white men into testosterone meltdown.

Speaking about Josh “Self-Admitted Child Molester” Duggar, how are we supposed to deal with this story? The current hooferaw and whatnot about it is so weird with the pretending to conceal the victim’s identities – but c’mon. I mean really. You cannot talk about this story and pretend not to know who the “several young girls” are.

So there’s a moral quandary here. Yes, Josh “Self-Admitted Child Molester” Duggar really needs to be outed as the odious piece of shit that he is – but we really ought to consider the impact on his victims. Clearly the pretending that we don’t know who they are is already shielding Josh “Self-Admitted Child Molester”. Obviously, an open discussion which acknowledges their identities reveals even moar clearly what a terrible monster Josh “Self-Admitted Child Molester” is. As in even worse than is generally implied by “Self-Admitted Child Molester”.

I’ve thought about it some more in the past few minutes and decided that, yes we do need to talk about this. Because Jim Bob. Fuck that asshole. Holy. Fucking. Shit.

Seriously. I’m not a violent guy and I don’t like to wish ill on others, but Jim Bob needs to fucking DIAF.

Look, Josh “Self admitted child rapist” Duggar is apparently on the safe side of the statute of limitations. So bully for him. He will never be charged, never tried, never convicted, never be punished for the depraved crimes he has committed. It’s possible he won’t even be added to a sex offender registry. (I don’t know if confessing after the fact gets one on the list). I am more worried about his future victims. How is every young person sharing a zip code with this predator supposed to be protected? If he still wants to lay claim to anything close to integrity, the only honorable thing left for him to do is commit himself to lifelong voluntary exile & isolation. Aren’t there still monasteries off the coast of Greece where women are forbidden?

So Josh “Self admitted child rapist” Duggar said, in his admission, that the police were informed at that time. But the records show that Jim “Family Values&tm;” Bob Duggar waited a year before contacting them.

I am shocked, shocked I say, that Josh “Self admitted child rapist” Duggar would lie about it. Am I shocked that Jim Bob “Family Values&tm;” Duggar would keep it under his hat for a year? Whattayoutink.

Oh fuck. It’s “™” aint it. My brain is revolting. (go ahead, anyone, i lobbed it out there for you)

1) why would anyone take anything written for NRO seriously? OF COURSE it’s all dog-whistles, all the way down.

2) You can call Waco a riot, but it doesn’t fit the common meaning as well as “gang war” or “gunfight” or a number of other terms that denote some presence of intent and organization.

3) you can most certainly call the bikers “thugs” as they fit that term perfectly to me.

4) may I suggest waiting until Fall football season, and then use the inevitable post-game white riots to excoriate the media? Those are a much better fit, linguistically speaking.

5) I suppose this will be written of as “mansplaining” but I don’t know how else to express an opinion other than typing words into the comment box and hitting “post”.

I’d point out that bullying the Duggar kid for sexual abuse now misses the point: He was seriously underage when it occurred.

This is what happens when young people aren’t given proper supervision. Period.

It has nothing to do with him as an adult.

Let’s re-write that: He was an early teen when he committed these acts. That puts the fault squarely on the parents for not providing supervision and instruction.

The people who should be resigning now are the ones who were the adults when it happened, not the kid who acted out.
