Yes. In my sexist, phallocentric (or “cock-centric” as S,N! would probably have it) sort of way, I had assumed that World O’Crap was male-authored.

Why are the boys always so surprised that a funny, biting, incredibly intelligent person is a female? Aren’t you guys supposed to be the good ones?

I made the same mistake when I first linked to her a few months ago.

We weren’t surprised, but although we are the good ones, we are also very lazy. Assuming WOC was put together by a he spared us the effort of looking for the “s” on our keyboard. Imagine how much funnier this blog can be with the effort needed for that extra letter going into comedy writing instead.
