In a development that is either a) a spectacularly failed attempt at comedy or b) the most shocking Amber Pawlik-related news we’ve ever reported, Sadly, No! reader sbw emails to report that Ayn Randian Princess Pawlik has been kicked off the group blog of Men’s News Daily. It appears that Amber’s future Valentine Day gift to us (as reported by World O’Crap’s s.z.,) the famous “Enjoy Cock T-shirt,” aroused a few homo-erotic feelings in her fellow writers ruffled some feathers:
I don’t really care. Not sure how a *female* wearing an “Enjoy C-ck” tshirt is homosexuality … but whatever.
Perhaps it was not the homosexuality rather than simply the idea of Amber writing on anything sex-related that was so shocking to her colleagues, especially the poster Common Sense, he (?) of most uncommon spelling.
Jim at The Rittenhouse Review also notes the passing of Amber days. To think he gets to share Philadelphia with Amber — it’s enough to make us jealous.
And all this time I thought Amber was related to the War on Terra™

Jim also gets to share Philly with Atrios (whom he actually knows — without the mask or anything!) and I believe also Billmon — somewhat greater intellects than Amber’s IMO. Jim actually mentions Amber getting thrown off a blog called “Chapin Nation” and says he doesn’t know if she’s been thrown off “Men’s News Daily.” Has the Ayn Randian Princess been thrown off two group blogs? Gad! What a way to start the new year!

Hmm, seems like “Men’s News Daily” and “Chapin Nation” are the same thing. Never mind.
I think “Chapin Nation” is the group blog for some of the “Men’s News Daily” columnists. Amber isn’t going to be participating in either outlet. As she says in her post-pink slip email, “I wasn’t planning on posting there anymore anyway, nor am I writing for mensnewsdaily or doing anything involving ‘men’s rights activism’ as it is the most misogynist hateful movement ever.”
So, at least she’s learning. I think Sadly, No! should invite her to contribute articles from time to time. And Amber could be a co-blogger with Andew Sullivan — I think they have a lot in common, and he’d probably like the t-shirt too.
