From John at Americablog:
CNN’s Jack Cafferty, moments ago:
Jack Cafferty: Do you suppose, Wolf, that the arrival of the relief convoys and the political photo ops on the gulf coast happening at the very same time were a coincidence today?
Wolf Blitzer: Uh, well, we’ll, I’m sure our viewers have some thoughts on that as well. These pictures, by the way, Jack, that we’re getting in…
Wolf Blitzer: Jack a final thought before I let you go.
Jack Cafferty: It’s embarrassing [followed by dead silence]
We heard a convoy of those trucks on this online scanner feed last night. They were en route, and the drivers were asking about the parking situation at the Superdome, not long after midnight.
They held the trucks.
The transmissions from last night aren’t archived anywhere, are they?
I call bullshit on this. I can’t believe it for the same reason that I couldn’t believe any of the Bush-knew 9/11 conspiracy theories: It’s simply too big. Too many people would have had to know about it, people who would not want to protect the evildoers. Someone would blow the whistle.

I share Neil’s skepticism. That’s why I wanna hear the transmissions.
HURRICANE DIGEST / Despite war, plenty of Guard troops
Despite the deployment of 78,000 National Guard forces in Iraq and other overseas hot spots, hurrica
Seems unlikely but I allmost wouldn’t put it past them, ill be searching for any archived copies of that.

One of the drivers was just on ABC News two minutes ago saying that the trucks were loaded, in Texas, on Monday, but that his bosses told him to hold back.
Red 18-wheelers.
As much as I want this story to be true I really need proof,,, pictures, Officer accounts, video, etc. This will be the a huge nail in Bush’s coffin if true, BUT it needs to be true.
It’s true.
somebody who’s good at it could probably get a clip of that ABC News…
I don’t have TiVo. We need to get some recording action going. Anyone?
From one Jack to another Jack,
Please don’t tell me that our Pres. isn’t going to waste more of our precious fuel on another trip to Texas.
Two 747s and all the equipment required for his entourage.
Dear Jack,
How could a governor in Georgia come up with such an idiotic idea that closing the schools down would save fuel? Doesn’t he realize that most people work and work deosn’t shut down. So now they have to transport their kids to a sitter. Buses are mass transportion and he believes you can transport children 1 or 2 at a time using less fuel. Give him the moron of the week award.
