It’s like the regular Rant, but now extra Rantier

Ladies and gentlemen, we bring you Ali Sina, whose name seems to be a mix of insane and asylum put together:

This is the beginning of the fall of Europe. Anti-Islamism is not the same as anti-Semitism. Islam is a belief system, Semites are a race. We can’t equate a race to a doctrine.

The “this” referred to by Ali is the EU’s decision to monitor both anti-Semitism and anti-Islamism. And when you monitor two different things, that means (logically) that they are the same. Just like when we monitor conservatives and lunatics on the internet, it means that conservatives are lunatics.

This decision simply makes no sense. It is a contradiction. You can’t ban anti-Semitism and anti-Islamism at the same time. Islam is anti-Jew and anti-Human. The two don’t go together. They are mutually exclusive.

This is our new favorite: that Islam is anti-Human, and/or seeks the destruction of humanity. So long, and thanks for all the Korans!

Jews and humans? Woooh, that’s a syntactical infelicity for the ages.

Great catch! Ali Sina could be a source of much joy and many uproarious whoopie-cushion moments.

Hey wait, it’s Seb. I thought you were Brad….

So what, this guy hates Cat Stevens? Anti-Islam.

sorry, i’ll go home now.

So I guess Muslims won’t be making any donations to the Human Fund this year, eh?

BTW, this is what i thought, but i had to do a minimum of research to be sure. From MW dictionary – Semite: 1 a : a member of any of a number of peoples of ancient southwestern Asia including the Akkadians, Phoenicians, Hebrews, and Arabs b : a descendant of these peoples

So basically, the Arabs who practice Islam are also Semitic. I understand that not al who practice Islam are Arabs, and I’m not trying to say that. Just that there are very many people who do practice Islam that are Semitic, so therefore being pro-Islam does not equal anti-Semitic. In other words, Ali’s sentence “They are mutually exclusive.” is completely incorrect.

Ali’s brain seems to be completely incorrect. At least that’s what I gather after reading his “thoughts.”

On the other hand, I can see where he’s coming from. If the Europeans make it illegal to spew ignorant, hate-filled rants about Islam, then he’s soon going to be out of a job.

Okay maybe not. whois says http://www.faithfreedom.org/ was registered in New York in October 2001.
