Questions that cannot be answered

Jen Shroder asks:

Did Geraldo completely make up all those cult stories and if so, why is he still a respected journalist?

This is a little bit too much like World Forum:

Good evening. Tonight is indeed a unique occasion in the history of television. We are very privileged, and deeply honoured to have with us in the studio, Karl Marx, founder of modern socialism, and author of the ‘Communist Manifesto’. Vladimir Ilich Ulyanov, better known to the world as Lenin, leader of the Russian Revolution, writer, statesman, and father of modern communism. Che Guevara, the Cuban guerrilla leader. And Mao Tse-tung, leader of the Chinese Communist Party since 1949. […]

Che Guevara – Coventry City last won the FA Cup in what year? No? I’ll throw it open. Coventry City last won the FA Cup in what year? No? Well, I’m not surprised you didn’t get that. It was in fact a trick question. Coventry City have never won the FA Cup.

PS: Don’t miss this exciting treatment of Jen’s recent column, In Lone Defense of Scott Peterson:

Jen’s got all the instincts of a great lawyer. See, she takes the time to explain that “unknown circumstances” are just fancy legal jargon for “circumstances that are unknown.” Johnnie Cochran, watch your ass!!!

In which world is Geraldo Rivera a respected journalist? Probably the Bizzaro World of a tough, macho George Bush.

Hey, what happened to that bit o’ brilliance I posted here? See if I ever come back. FLOUNCE!

Ti-Guy: Do you want a real explanation or just some snark? šŸ˜‰

Your previous comment was left during that small window of time when our DNS entry was updated on our end (and we set up the new site,) and when it wasn’t on yours, so that you left comments at the “old site.” There are 4 or 5 such comments, and we’ll add them manually once we’ve gotten some sleep.

Well Beetlegeuse, Beetlejeuse, Beetlegeuse! Jen Schroeder, who looks an awful lot like Debbie “You Light Up My Life” Boone, has more conspiracy linkages (the IAEA?!) than Dale Gribble. Then again, for a cartoon character, Dale Gribble has more depth than Jen Schroeder. So it all balances out.

Best line fron Jen’s piece:

“Before I committed my life to Christ, I worked at Renaissance Faires”

This is her personal experience with witches and warlocks. Jen goes on to shock us with the fact that some police reports are kept from the public!! Dear lord, what next? Military records of a sitting president kept from the public? This IS shocking!

I particularly like her reference to a “popular Satanist website”. That website?

Witchvox, a major site for the Pagan community. Not Satanists, but Pagans. Of course, to her there’s no difference.

“BlessedCause was publicly named by the California Democrats as “behind the recall,” and shortly thereafter a plot to frame BlessedCause was discovered and exposed before fruition.”

WTF? This appears to make no sense. She kind of looks like a French commie. Maybe that explains it.

Does the Bible prophesy about
President Bush?

by Jen Shroder

Sadly, No Jen.

Alas, Coventry City STILL haven’t won the FA Cup since that early 70’s Python sketch. One of my favorite Python sketches, I love how Mao knows the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest and thus gets to compete for the non-materialistic lounge suite.

Sorry Jim. Coventry won the FA Cup in 1987 beating Spurs 3-2 in the final. I know ‘cos I was there, unfortunately.

Actually I think the bible does mention chicken george only he’s called the Anti-Christ. Or maybe not.
