Can someone kick Adam Nagourney out of the liberal conspiracy?

Because, you know, he’s getting pretty annoying:

Whatever problems Mr. Bush might be experiencing as he comes to the end of his first term, his position continues to be bolstered by concern about terrorism. Sixty-eight percent of respondents said they had a lot or some confidence that Mr. Bush would make the right decisions to prevent another terrorist attack – compared with 62 percent who said they felt that way about Mr. Kerry.

A 6-point advantage in a poll with a margin of error of three points, and Bush is “bolstered?!?”

Mr. Bush is now perceived less favorably than he was earlier this month, which is probably a reflection of the fact that he has fiercely attacked Mr. Kerry recently, erasing an advantage he had had over Mr. Kerry. Typically, candidates who go on the attack pay a price in seeing their own negative ratings rise. [Emphasis added.]

It certainly can’t be because Bush lost debates one, two and three, can it?

That my friend is a matter of opinion…

Yes, Steve. It’s “a matter of opinion”. That’s why it’s called an “opinion poll”. Feel free to ask whenever these things aren’t clear to you.

“…respondents said they had a lot or some confidence that Mr. Bush would make the right decisions to prevent another terrorist attack.”

Shouldn’t that read “a terrorist attack?”

After all, Bush screwed the pooch on the first one.

Yes. I do believe good ole Chicken George was president on 9/11. I seem to remember the pussy running away and hiding on that day.

Yes, Steve, a matter of opinion. Kind of how those pesky WMD’s being in Iraq were apparently a matter of opinion.

Oh yes, Bush is the best one to protect us against terrorism.

He just handed 760,000 pounds of high-grade explosives to the terrorists.

The next quarter-million bombings that happen will be W?s fault.
