Jonah ‘as one Nipping at ‘is ‘heels

Let us take a trip to the NRO, where apparently, they are grooming a replacement for the cone appointed, current occupant of the “corner” at the Corner. They may have unearthed someone even more stupid though less cheeto stained than Jonah “Fruit of the Loins of Lucianne” Goldberg.

Introducing one ‘eather Mac Donald. Who seems to want to have one of the last words on NYPD fluffing and Mayor ‘atin. Imma gonna start in a few graphs because this one is…let’s just see shall we:

It began on December 20, 2014, when a thug from Brooklyn assassinated two police officers….

I’m sure we’ll get to the what some time down the road, but at least a couple of things stand out. First she just had to use the shiny new code word that is a poor, but slightly satisfying replacement for nigger, kind of like a winger having to take to coffee mate rather than half and half. I feel them their pain. If it were up to me I’d open the gates and let them have at it in public like so many pent up racists have been flinging it freely of late in the comment sections of finer online pallazi.

Thug, assassin, check. By now it should be common knowledge that the assassin in question was from Baltimore, not Brooklyn, but for a woman on a mission it is an easy mistake to make and Brooklyn is of course in the wingnut universe about the pantheon, possibly second only to Detroit a safe word for Niggerville.

Back to Mac Donald. Out of the gate:

New York City mayor Bill de Blasio is “comfortable” with himself. So the city learned during the biggest crisis to hit a New York mayoralty in recent memory. “I’m comfortable with the fact that I’ve always tried to tell the truth and stay true to my values,” de Blasio said in mid January, as police officers across New York City continued a work slowdown that had brought discretionary police activity to a virtual standstill. De Blasio’s breezy self-assurance was revealing but unfortunate, since it was his belief in his own mission as social-justice truth-teller that had pushed the police into revolt in the first place.

I guess “comfortable” is a newly terrifying state of mind for someone longing for the luxuries of hairshirts and self flagellation (for thee of course). Ten to one this is yet another reactionary Catholic. It seems that not only does Mac discuss the continued own goal of discretionary policing, it seems as something that is fine as a tactic because the real criminal in all of this is the Mayor.

Just about par for the course in wingnitpicking sophistry.

Law enforcement in New York may be on the rise for now, but in the long term public safety remains at risk from an activist mayor who sees his base as the anti-police Left.

Blink, blink, blink. this is some quantum shit, effect proceeding cause, cats and dogs, a fucking word salad worthy of Palin.

Indeed, following a grand jury’s decision on December 3 not to indict New York police officer Daniel Pantaleo for the arrest that led to the death of Eric Garner, de Blasio attributed the incident to “centuries of racism.” De Blasio then personalized his racism charge against the NYPD. The mayor worried “every night,” he said, about the “dangers” that his biracial son, Dante, might face from “officers who are paid to protect him.”

At the time, these remarks — based in thorough ignorance of the facts about policing and crime — were a body blow to the rank and file. But after the Ramos and Liu assassinations, carried out in the name of Eric Garner and Ferguson teen Michael Brown, they became a source of visceral rage, as they fed the atmosphere of escalating cop hatred that led to the killings.

This shit goes on for four more rambling pages, and I have only shared maybe a 1/9th of the first page with you, and quite frankly just don’t have it in me to rebuke this package of ahistorical, falsehood, and misinterperative dances with word salads.

Honestly I don’t know how they do it. Though given the quality of craft, subject matter, and publication date, this was a work in progress for the better part of two months running and rent is soon due.

My arms are missing you, my lips feel the same way too
I tried so hard to be true, like I promised I’d do
But this girl keeps coming around, she’s trying to wear my resistance down

Paradoxically, it’s also a safe word for liberal hipster East Coast elitism… Jay-Z, Lena Dunham… they are both existential threats to the Republic.

“Assassinate”, not “Shoot”, not “murder”, not “kill”. Words have meanings. Assassinate is loaded with extra meaning beyond simply killing. It means premeditated killing for pay or politics. It implies covert training, like that of snipers, ninjas, and CIA operatives. It implies conspiracy. It implies this was more than a “lone wolf”, a sad pathetic act of protest by a failure who dealt with setbacks in his life by attempting to kill a woman who rejected him, and then tried to tack some kind of anti-police message on his suicide. It’s funny how these gasbags never use the word assassinate when their own nutty lone wolves go and kill a prominent target of right wing condemnation like Dr Tiller for example.
