McClellan’s Publisher a Liberal

  • The guy who published McClellan’s book is a LIBERAL!!! Who LIKES GEORGE SOROS!!! And MOLLY IVINS!!!! And he even SAID MEAN THINGS ABOUT RUSH LIMBAUGH!!!

‘Shorter’ concept created by Daniel Davies and perfected by Elton Beard.

[Gavin adds: Oh lord, Little Green Footballs has been on this as well. One of Charles's goblins has traced the corporate structure of Public Affairs Books, and the comments are aroil with suggestions that McClellan was an undercover operative the whole time, and that conspiracies lurk everywhere, and wheels-within-wheels, and so forth. They have yet to become aware that a sister company, Basic Books, publishes William F. Buckley, Dinesh D'Souza, and other such luminaries. KERNERS ARE GO!]

As an aside, watching these schmucks go into complete meltdown mode never gets old. Who’s the next ex-loyal Bushie to write a blistering tell-all? Colin Powell? Gonzo? Rummy? Brownie? Harriet Miers? The possibilities are both tantalizing and endless.

For current purposes, “liberal publisher” is defined as “a publisher that expects to make money on a book, rather than subsidising the author”.

So… the publisher is a liberal. I notice that nobody is offering any evidence that anything in the book is incorrect, though. It’s easier to attack people than information!

The fact is, McClelans book is biased to the far left. Enough is a enough. We need more balanced selections in book stores and in libraries, books that tell both sides of the story and nont one sided Bush- and America- bashing.

The good thing is that this definition of liberal is easy to use because it is something which happens after the events.

Sometimes it is hard to cut everything up into liberal and the True Conservatives, but since this publisher published something which said Bush Jr. and the Iraq invasion were sort of wrong, we know they are liberal.

McClellan and Powell were particularly hung out to dry by the Bushies, each given a grand public immolation that pretty much ruined them forever.

Sadly, I can’t think of anyone in the Cheney shop or circle who’s got a similar axe to grind, so I fear McClellan’s pen-knife to the rear thigh is as close as we’ll come to a real stabbed in the back bitchfest. Still, I can hope.

Mark “Columbo” Hemingway detects a LIBRUL as evidenced by page 36 of the McClellan book.

    Here’s an Example:

I should have more to say about it later when I finish reading it, but I just got my grubby paws on McClellan’s book and this jumped out on page 36:

“”One of my favorite classes at UT was a leadership course taught by Sara Weddington, a longtime friend of Ann Richards who was known for her involvement representing the anonymous “Jane Roe” in Roe v. Wade, the case that made abortion legal across the United States.”

Coming from an allegedly conservative Republican, that’s quite revealing.
