MileHi, you’re probably long gone from this thread by now, but yes, yes I did get a lovely snow day. And a snow evening on Tuesday, so no classes for two days. I had to call AAA to get my car doors opened, though. Locks froze shut again.

I can’t wait until spring.

Weird. The American Historical Association convention was at the Shoreham (and two other hotels) just a few weeks ago. I worked the convention (I’m a history grad student), and became sort of by default “the Omni guy” for setting up signage and such. It’s a bit frightening to think that thousands of disheveled academics have given way to shrieking wingnut harpies.
