eagles defense only allowed 24 points and the refs gave the patriots a td at the end of the half. jim johnson's defenses always shut down and frustrate randy moss and youd know that if you really knew football. Too bad Feeley threw that pick to spot the patriots 7 and then even more stupidly threw the pick at the end. but thats why hes a backup. but reid should just run the ball on 2nd and 4 from the 30. the piece-o-shits lucked out.

I have mixed feelings about the Jets beating the Pats. My expectations are so low that as long as the Jets have a better record than the Dolphins the season is a success. But it would be just like them to go up there and by winning fuck up their draft position and allow Shula, et al to have their annual champagne toast.

Anyway, fuck football.

Does "hysterical" mean the same thing as "imaginary"? Then yes.

He's out on the celebrity golf circuit and doing AT&T commercials. A fate worse than death, to be certain.

Moss has no luck. His backup players didn't perform for him today, and the refs stole his TD. Sure, his team won, but who cares? Moss is the whole story.

I spent this Sunday afternoon at San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art, contemplating the collage art of Joseph Cornell and the environmental art of Olafur Eliasson. The Raiders, 49ers AND Vikings all won (I'm a transplanted Minnesotan, btw.) Sounds like a formula for success. Let's see how they do next Sunday when we go hear the Takacs String Quartet.

They issued us a Mark I Mode 0 Mute Button. We use it with abandon.

Our lives as a whole work about the same way.

Sadly, this is true. What? You think Pavlov's research came as some kind of SURPRISE? Sheesh.

the theory that only those games that–when you’re playing them–give you regular access to your beer...

Two words. Softball. Infield.

I used to take a bottle of Smirnoff Silver out to play second base with me. My fielding percentage went down as the game progressed, but the laughter percentage went through the roof....

When the fraud Giants, the team the NFL really wants to be America's Team, were 6-2, I thought they'd finish 8-8.

I may be wrong. They're going 7-9.

This is the game with the pointy brown ball, right?

Meanwhile, I enjoy actually playing any of the Great American Sports, and this has inspired me to develop the theory that only those games that--when you're playing them--give you regular access to your beer will ever be enduringly popular in this country. Hence soccer faces an uphill battle, and whatever happened to hockey?
