And I note that the less than.greater than signs et up a chunk of words, and that the bit containing them is now incorrect. The way it should read is: “[” (brackets on) should be replaced with a "less than sign," and the “]” (brackets off) should be replaced with a "greater than sign." Apply that to the code sample in the first post.

Goddamn it! The "greater than" and "less than" signs showed in auto-preview!On a QWERTY-style keyboard, "less than" is the comma, shifted up and the "greater than" is the period, again, shifted up. Sheesh

Various persons have been running into trouble trying to link from here in a number of posts. I, too, ran into this problem. I keep two clippings of HTML code for linking purposes, though I generally used to use only one of them. A couple of days ago. that piece of code stopped working. I can't really tell you why--I suspect a point-update to Word Press--but, after stubbornly trying for <strike>[timeframe removed due to embarrassment potential]</strike>, I decided to try the other one. Huzzah! It works!

In the following code example, "[" (brackets on) should be replaced with a "" (greater than sign). Oh yeah--the ALL-CAPS phrases "ADDRESS" and "LINK_TEXT" should be replaced with the URL/web address and whatever you'd like the link to read, respectively. They needn't be in ALL CAPS; I just made 'em that way to make them easily discernable. Now, without further ado, here goes:

[a href="ADDRESS" target="_blank"]LINK_TEXT[/a]

Try that, kids!

Following g's link up there, the speaker is complaining about Hamas-trained Terrorist Peeing Squads.

No, really.

Along with 'Fox Liberals' I really think the wingnuts have started seeing things. All this fear has kept them awake far too long and the mental breakdown has advanced into hallucinations.

"Fox News liberals". Reeeeaaalllly. I don't recall ever seeing one of those, but then I'd have to watch that sewer to find one, and paint drying is certainly more informative than any given 30 minutes of faux noooze.

But get a load of Malkin in profile, is that unappealing or what? Kim Jong Il on a bad hair day, or such a pissed off pout that a parrot could perch on it? Not that one would want to, but still...

As for Gabler's comment, he was just stating the frickin obvious, that walking while western in any Baghdad neighborhood without at least 1 US division of soldiers is the same as suicide. Maybe Gabler was just trying to warn Bloody Bill that some delusions can be fatal. Since BB's delusions have been fatal for so many others, perhaps he'd like an up close and personal, unvarnished, and unprotected look. It's the least he could do.

One of the speakers at the Horowitzian Islamofascism Conference/Hate Fest is upset by the intimidating and dastardly techniques of suppressing her freedom of speech:

According to Darwish, the female students in head-scarves did the following: As she spoke, they made exaggerated, “mean girl” faces at her. They rolled their eyes, practiced “disbelieving” facial expressions—did everything but stick out their tongues. And they continued to talk to each other in loud whispers while Darwish spoke: “How can she tell such lies!” “I was never, ever indoctrinated against Jews!” “Can you believe what she is saying?” “We do not call Jews pigs and apes, how can she lie about her own people?”

In addition to the “mean girl” faces and the continual loud whispering, one by one, at least four to five head-scarved girls, got up to leave the room during Darwish’s speech. This meant that each girl took two minutes to move to the end of her row, physically causing the other students to get up or twist aside, causing the entire room to look at the departing student, not at their invited guest—and then each girl did precisely the same thing when she returned two minutes later, presumably from a bathroom break.

And then they like totally laughed at her new handbag.

According to Darwish, the female students in head-scarves did the following: As she spoke, they made exaggerated, “mean girl” faces at her. They rolled their eyes, practiced “disbelieving” facial expressions—did everything but stick out their tongues....In addition to the “mean girl” faces and the continual loud whispering, one by one, at least four to five head-scarved girls, got up to leave the room during Darwish’s speech. This meant that each girl took two minutes to move to the end of her row, physically causing the other students to get up or twist aside, causing the entire room to look at the departing student, not at their invited guest—and then each girl did precisely the same thing when she returned two minutes later, presumably from a bathroom break.

And then they totally didn't let her sit next to them in the cafeteria.
