Gary (btw are you for real or just a brilliant satirist of the typical knownuthin fascist pinhead?) let me just take this opportunity to vent on how I hate that the wingnuts have hijacked the term “conservative.” There is NOTHING remotely “conservative” about their philosophy, which can charitably be described as radically retrogressive.

To wit: Eisenhower was a conservative. Jacob Javits was a conservative. Nelson Rockefeller was a conservative. Pat Moynihan was a conservative. These people are batshit, pre-Magna Carta troglodytes.

Dop they ever even parse the words they use? I mean, even ONCE? The word ‘conservative’ obviously derives from the verb “to conserve.” So…what is it that these fucknuts think they’re “conserving,” exactly?

The military? Nope. Destroying it, by every measure.
The economy? Ditto, a sea of red ink for generations to come and looming recession.
The planet? (Hah!)
Traditional morals? Well, I dunno…let’s ask Larry Craig, Ted Haggard. Dave Drier, Dave Fleishman, Mark Foley and Rush Limbaugh about those, shall we?

Say what you will about Goldstein, he knows his audience. A bunch of angry, deluded, sad, chubby, mulleted rednecks living in the cool and damp confines of grandma's basement. I once made some MySpace Profiles for Goldstein's best and brightest commenters "B Moe," "Pablo," and "HappyFeet." I was taking a bit of artistic license in making them, but I remain pleased with my resuts.

Hey, is it just me or is there something just horribly overblown in Goldstein’s writing? It’s like the guy is convinced that the more unreadable the prose, the more intelligent it sounds.

It’s always the same. You start out thinking “Wow, this is pretty convoluted, it might be rather profound”, soon leading to “this is just deliberately obfuscated”, and finally winding up at “is that all?”.

It’s the latter day equivalent of a 14th century illuminated manuscript. It’s highly detailed and ornamented and it’s all in fucking Latin or some shit, and you just have to think that whatever it’s about must just totally kick ass … but when you get it deciphered, it’s a fairly mundane story about a monk who eats paste.

At some point in the past, this guy was paid by the word.

What is really funny is that in the comments to the “Do you like this cartoon?” post Malkin’s flying monkey’s can’t understand why it is when they vote no they can’t see the results.
