Old Big Dog has this bit of wit under the noose on his website:

"Recently the news has had a few stories about nooses being hung and how it is a hate crime. I think it is as much an expression of free speech as is burning a Flag (which is a true hate crime). Therefore, I am hanging this noose as an expression of free speech."

Why not go whole hog, dog? Be brave and post a swastika as an expression of your "free speech." After all, there's a lot fewer Jews than Blacks. And, we could all see what a "freedom fighter" you really are.

I love the way he started out with the classical "troll manners" and, when unmasked, started spewing reflexive hatespeak and then got his widdle feewings awww hurted and left mad.

Hope you didn't make him cry. He might not be able to see well enough to tie his nooses.

Do wingnuts want English to be made the official language of the US so they can find help to finish learning it?

I forgot the main point of my post: It's the poisonous legacy of Newt Gingrich and Tom DeLay. There might be some idealistic conversative out there, with his heart in the right place (and who knows, maybe even with some decent ideas), but the poor fucker doesn't have a chance, not in today's environment.

That being said, there are promising signs that the wheels are coming off the Repub jalopy... I think this most recent interaction with Mr Biggus Doggus is instructive: The dude withered in the face of facts backed with honest ideology. Maybe he'll see that "ZOMG!!! Mooslims!!!!11!!!" has some, er, infrastructural flaws as a philosophy. It'll take time and we need to be compassionate as we do it, but we can win these people over. I like what Sara Robinson had to write about it over at Orcinus.

Republican/Conservative politics can be described neatly in one word: THWART.

Don't let the "Democrat party" get a win. EVAR.

See an earmark for a $4B nuclear waste incinerator to be placed in downtown Houston? Sounds great! Repeal regulations that keep mining companies from decapitating mountain-tops in West Verginia? That's Red State deliciousness, and besides, the water in those creeks seems to be kinda sludgy these days anyway. How about an American Flag factory, to be staffed by snowflake babies? Ooooh, no... That's liberal pork, baby -- right in the middle of Rep. Two-Shoes (D-BFE)'s district.

There's a name for someone who says No just for the sake of saying No: Morris. No, that's not right. It's DICK.

I agree with Raven on this one, all the real men died out in the late nine hundreds. Why I remember back in the day Vlad the Impaler could skewer his idealogical foes anus first onto large greesed polls all day long with nary a peep about "post tramatic stress". Now there was a man, he only let the tortured screams of his victims creep into his dreams in a good way. And if any of his minions would have complained about any mental trauma they would have found themselves on the wrong end of a pointed stick.

One thing to remember is that, thanks to improvements in military medicine, this war is bringing home soldiers who, quite simply, would have died in Vietnam, Korea or WWII. Soldiers are returning home with injuries far more grievous than those seen by most survivors of previous conflicts. We're discharging soldiers from Iraq who wouldn't even have made it to the field hospital in previous wars; that changes the psyche in ways we cannot hope to understand.

Hmm.
Her bio omits any mention of military experience.

Perhaps several tours will help her answer her own question, "How does one decipher whether a person is truly mentally ill, or is exploiting their battle experiences to their fullest advantage?"

If the war in Iraq is so important that we need to keep mentally ill soldiers in the field, why isn't Ms. Raven in the military?

Or at the very least demanding that we enact a war tax to pay for the Iraq War and show our nation's resolve to this long struggle?

In conserva-world it is ok to think every liberal is evil, that is OK but we are always to buy this horseshit that there is some mythical “good conservative” out there.

...

The republican party taken over by a bunch of Kooks!!!”

Needless to say “conservatives” threw Goldwater under the bus long ago…

No More, I'm not saying that the "Conservative Movement" is anything but the proto-fascist movement that we continually dissect here. And I don't agree with much that Ron Paul or Bob Dole say (though I gotta give Ron Paul proper respect for saying that the War On Terror is horseshit, on TV). I also don't want to overstate the power and influence of conservatives like Goldwater on the rest of the Conservatives. Finally, I certainly do not expect conservatives to save me from the "Conservative Movement", as that would be absurd and naive.

What I was saying was much more modest and basic. I was saying that there are conservatives, who, apparently like Goldwater, are not really part of the "Conservative Movement", and who don't believe that liberals are evil. I was saying that there are conservatives who, in addition to having conservative political beliefs, act like normal people. These conservatives often have similar reactions to the "Conservative Movement" to the reactions liberals have, like: "what a bunch of childish, nasty, insane idiots" kind of reactions.

I think some of the people at antiwar.com are that kind. John Cole could be another one. Maybe Goldwater was one. John Dean could be another.

That's all I'm saying. Normal, sane conservatives do exist.

noticed also he didn't link to this thread so his reader could see how he was chewed up and spit out.... I am sure they would love to see the child molesting promoting lovefest being pushed here.

What a disgusting little man. Typical.

Billy Joe, I see what you mean.

Lil' Puppy says:

"They cherry pick and they try to make people believe that it is OK to do whatever they want, kill babies, smoke dope, molest children, as long as it feels good."

Like I said, they are in a controlled mind set and they will not get out of it. He's too far up Rush's butt to ever get out. Every talking point Rush, O'reilly and Coulter have shoved down his throat is his little world now... it is safe now for he knows where all the boogie men are because they told him. I always get a big belly laugh when they say people can't think for themselves, he lives in an alternate reality and so 'others' can't think for themselves. I didn't see one point he made I couldn't have posted for him; they are so predictable.

But the funniest thing is he took it all personally, like "he" was attacked. I don't think anyone here gives a rat's ass about Lil Puppy, there is not one iota of difference between him and any other controlled troll.
