Will Someone Please Think Of The Children?
Hey, Michelle! It’s a good thing there is no larger right-wing strategy to hide behind children and use them as cannon fodder in a losing bid to get stuff like forced pregnancy passed into law.
Like, the campaign ad below from Wisconsin Republican Paul R. Nelson can’t possibly feature the voice and image of a real child. Because what kind of monster would manipulate a little girl into calling her mother a murderer for a TV ad? What sort of cynical, vote-hungry scumbag would — just going on pure speculation here — exploit a marital rift between two parents to get the go-ahead from the father to use their daughter to get back at the mother for her decision not to bear another one of his children?

Hey guys, you know, the circumstances may be sort of funny, and the hypocrisy is great and all, but still, a guy died. The fact that he died doing something he felt a need to keep secret because his own identity was so structured around condemning it kind of makes it more sad, in a way.
Plus it’s not like hypocrisy about sex (or paraphilia, or whatever) is a rare story.

The Abortion ad would have been more effective with virtually any other procedure, but considering that so-called “partial birth” abortions are/were used almost solely in cases involving the welfare of the Mother and/or a non-viable fetus, it strikes a bit hollow.
Vitter- Changing the kid, in light of his purpoted fetish is just too rich.
