I disagree with the idea that the Qur'an was edited at all since it's a sin to alter it anyway, and would render it moot. Still... on the issue... there is an upside to all of this crap against Muslims and extra crap made up by Muslims that don't really go with the Qur'an or Muhammad's character: comedy. God has made the perfect joke called humanity. We're just waiting now for the punchline to arrive. :)

The real point of substance is does this happen in some Islamic countries? . The answer is yes.The next question is where is the authority for this act?.
Here we look at sharia law and the example of Mohammad, that most excellent Muslim.
We may also ponder why stoning is not found as a punishment in the collated Quran.
We discover, if we look at the historical Islamic sources, that Omar, that faithful companion of Mohammad (and a later caliph) says there was a revealed surah about stoning (Mohammad ordered it as recorded in a number of hadiths) but it was left out of the final copy of the Quran collated by Zaid..
Omar complained about this, dear compassionate man. Not!
Facts chaps rule.

Islamofascism is like when one of the wingers says, "All you extremists who follow Islam," and then somebody says, "I'm Islamic, and I'm not an extremist!" and then the first guy says, "Oh, present company excepted, of course!"

Islamofascist means, "I categorically smear everybody who believes in this so-called religion of peace except whoever I actually have to face."

What do you mean by “That’s not the real thing.” Are you saying the Thai photos are fakes?

No, they're photographs. The real thing smells a lot worse and ruins your whole day to be around. "Couchgnome" or whatever the fuck he called himself said something about having the "courage" to look at the "real thing". I say it doesn't take any courage at all to sit on your fat ass looking at pictures of other people's deaths.

If you do not believe they are fakes, do you believe what is depicted is acceptable behavior, or something which must or should be tolerated? If you detest it, do you simply believe it is something we should take no action against, or just not action of a military nature?

What are you suggesting, that we bomb Thailand?

As for the comments regarding Somalia, Kosovo, and Bosnia, I fail to understand where you stand on those military actions.

I was in favor of them. To a man the wingnuts of the world could've given a shit about those people being slaughtered. I heard what you people were saying then. I specifically remember Rush going on his radio show and mocking the people supporting intervention, repeating "but people are dying!" in a weepy voice, to the delight of his listeners.

I am at a loss to your anger. I think it is unhealthy. It is one thing to oppose the current administration’s policies, it is quite another to let your anger turn to rage, and to let that rage cause denial of reality.

I don't need you to worry about my anger, I'm a very happy person. I just have no tolerance for little dirtbag wingnuts who look at pictures of other people's dead bodies to fuel their own appetite for more killing.

[...] Foto Funnies Pt.
Several months ago, Michelle Malkin and company analyzed the shit out of a series of photographs of a dead little girl. They wanted to prove that she had been unnecessarily carried around so that photographers could capture the dramatic scene, even after the body had already been transported to an ambulance.

They never once denied that this little girl had died in the manner reported, but they seemed to think that demonstrating that any posturing had taken place completely diffused any implication that the death of a child might have had.

Now we mention that their hate-week banner is a photo of professional actors engaged in 100% dramatization and they pretend not to see our point.
