Wow. My best guess is that the meds ran out by the end of the month for the “You were all promises” above. I feel sorry for the public library patrons that had to deal with whatever shabby Aqualung-esque troll produced this, muttering “End of world has no shame! Sarge, are you there?” as he hammers on the keyboard for hours to produce that screed.

Was this all my fault? Some weird ur-black magic thing like what you see on cheesy Sci-Fi channel movies, where I accidentally repeated some phrase from The Forbidden Book (were the words “Ann Althouse” and “Cabana boy” never meant to co-exist in the same snarky sentence?). If so, I apologize … but TRex has gotta shoulder some blame too. I mean, cunnilingus and Coultergeist?

The Irish are special:::
1. Defeated the invading rapist pirate Scandanavian Vikings.
2. Were forced into emmigrating to the United States with the Potato Famine (1846-1857) as opposed to falling for temptation (request/comply), religious strife, political unrest, wanting more (greed).
I suspect the Irish are at the top of the “food chain” of necessity, religious strife coming in a distant 2nd. As such the gods accept culpability, having forced them into the migration.
Political strife are just abrasive, arrogant individuals, unwilling to accept the rules of their motherland because of their disfavor.

mdhatter – thanks for reminding me of Dr. Bronner’s name. I’d forgotten who was behind the impassioned carrying-on I once read on a bottle of… something … owned by my girlfriend’s roommate. I’d been meaning to track that down.

Googling around a bit I find that Dr. Bronner’s website seems to be much more calm than those old labels.
