Vice Versa

Above left: Attorney General Alberto Gonzales
I got distracted and missed a lot of the more ridiculous statements Alberto Gonzales made last night as I watched his laughably disingenuous interview on NBC Nightly News because, like any other time I see him speak on television, I can’t shake the nagging suspicion that the real attorney general, Judge Reinhold, is somewhere out there, totally hamming it up in his son’s fifth-grade classroom.

You liberals are just mad at Gonzales and out to get him because he didn’t hitch his wagon to the Democratic Party. I know this because Ruben Navarrette, Jr. said so. Also, the firings of the U.S. attorneys had nothing to do with partisan politics. I know this because Gonzales told Navarrette so.

Robert,
Nah, I’ve been having trouble getting here all day. SN! has been a target for some very determined Denial of Service spam attacks this last week or so. Someone needs to blow up some conservative modems, I think.
As to the U.S. attorneys thing, Gonzalez and the rest of the Repubs shouldn’t sweat it. There’s always the Ross and Rachel defense.

Does Judge Reinhold have the Hung Jury working with him?
