Though I had been hearing about Anna Nicole Smith recently, (including reading a headline saying her mom blamed drugs*) I didn’t know she died until I saw it earlier today on one of those paper thingys…a newpaper I think. Really surprised me.

*Yeah, I probably should have wondered “blames drugs for what?”, but I assumed it was just talking about her general Anna Nicole Smith-ness.

Fun fact about Anna Nicole from random memory: her battle with painkillers began after her surgery for breast augmentation. Seems she went all out, and had a second set of implants put in under her chest muscles, which cause her tremendous pain, the poor dear.
On the other hand, she was still a better person than Courtney Love.

Not to appear grandiose or narcissistically preoccupied, but I know there are lots of rumors circulating around about if and when I will be writing and releasing a song about Anna Nicole. It is not a secret that I often write songs that address the issues of our time. Just to settle rumors, I have written a song, but in a transparently contrived effort to build up anticipation, and in order not to appear brazenly crass and openly opportunistic, I’m waiting until at least Monday to release the song.
