Patti, I think this Amber chick is probably some extreme ghettoized diesel dyke who was rejected by a pleasant feminine woman. I live in Hillcrest and I see it all the time. Christina, look between your legs and you will find a baby factory. This area of your body has a natural purpose, to reproduce, sex is made pleasurable to ensure that we do reproduce. With our advanced civilization we seem to forget the simple fact that we are animals. Sure,women have been taken advantage of, but so have men. The relationship between man and woman is defined by nature, a natural partnership where the two work together to raise their young. For example, before civilization the man would wake up in his cave, tree or whatever wanting sex (as men often do today). This has many purposes, to try and concieve is one, a more important factor is that upon waking up a primary instinct is to find food and scientific studies have shown that sex improves aim when shooting. In other words, sex helps a man to get the resources he needs to provide for himself, his mate and children. After sex the man would have a far greater chance of successfully catching something and dragging it back to the cave. The man is now exhausted having been hunting all morning. The woman, however, is not, so it would make sense for the woman to prepare and serve the food. The man exhausts himself to produce the food and in return the woman prepares it for him and wishes to have children with him as he provides for her well. Both man and woman recieve mutual benefit. Sure, I know this isn’t the dark ages and that we are far more ‘civilized’ now. But our civilization has more mental health problems than ever before, more broken homes and familys, more unloved kids growing up with the tv or drugs or on the streets because both parents are out working because both parents have a right to a ‘career’. The more mankind defies nature the more it defies us and the more problems we create for ourselves. I have met many people from the ‘developing’ world and although they are not as wealthy as us, they are far happier and far closer to their families and relatives.

I hope this was a joke, which I’m sure it was. I actually wanted to post about the “pussification” article but postings are turned off. That guy is a fucking weirdo!!! He needs to step out of the dark ages and realize that women will not be taken advantage of anymore. We are equals in our own way, and we intend to stay that way. Surprisingly, I was not too offended by what he wrote because I quickly noticed that he only wanted to get as many replies as he could by making people angry. This guy is obviously feeling incompetent about something and is taking it out on women. I’ll bet his wife, if he could even attract one with that bad attitude, is the breadwinner and he’s sitting at home pissed off because she cut off his allowance until he cleans the house and makes some dinner. He needs to grow the fuck up and realize that one of these years we’re gonna have a woman president and there isn’t a damn thing he can do about it. Our mothers suffered for us to have a bright future and we will. Women aren’t sex-machines and baby-factories. We are CEO’s and degree-holders. We are people too.

You should check out Ambers pages and articles, if you read just a little, which i did, from a few different articles, you would see quite clearly that Amber is not being completely facetious nor completely unsatirical.

The level of response to this article is about as deep and complex as the canned soup you have crammed into Mrs Pawlik’s crockery and should be wiped clean in favor of educated replies.

Alas, that will not likely occur.

I cannot say I agree with Mrs Pawlik on several key issues but I do admire her work and appreciate the effort she has put into thinking about what concerns her.

Anyone who mistook her rant here for pure straightforward elucidation is missing something from their own humor… and that would be their funny bone!

…and she’s not just baking your beans either. Mrs Pawlik has stitched several honest opinions into her light hearted jostle of the sexist situation in the country today.

I probably won’t be back to this blog, seeing the flight toward reaction that people have round about. If you arenot going to reflect on the subtleties of the language, why bother reading?

I…I…I’m really at a loss for words. I got sidetracked from Ms.Lauren’s “Feministe” page and after reading your article, I can’t tell if this was satire or the real McCoy. You’d think,considering MY page and the fact that Ms.Lauren and ALL militant feminists rub my ass raw, that I would agree with you but truthfully, I don’t. You see, I’ve never understood why it has to be all one way or all the other with women. Well…people for that matter. I mean, I’m a pretty old fashioned white-picket fence, happily ever after kind of guy myself. And maybe because I was an orphan AND a child of divorce, I can conceed that I’m co-dependent. But what’s wrong with a woman who’s June Cleaver by day, Nina Hartley by night and a strong ass-kicker when she NEEDS to be, in between. You see…this all made sense to me when I once read a passage in a book dealing with “Father’s Rights” issues (or the denial thereof…) and it read like this…
” The illusion of a man’s power is ultimately his weakness…and the illusion of a woman’s weakness is ultimately, her power”.
…Point is…if you look back on history, who has REALLY held power since the dawn of time? Come on, be honest. In my trade, I don’t see ANY women working full-time as ironworkers so their husbands can be full-time homemakers or stay-at-home dads…do you? But I also wouldn’t want to go back to the days when women and children were regarded as property either. I like a woman who’s a fighter but I DON’T like a sadist.
