All attempts to wryly integrate a Better Than Ezra clip into the presentation met with calamity. The band is neither good nor bad, and indeed presents no outstanding features at all.

I'd say that "Juicy" is pretty bad. On the other hand, some of the band's earlier output (circa 1993) was pretty good, in my opinion.

I would be wrong.

Exactly how many millions has Patrick Fitzgerald "wasted"? I think you might be confusing current events with a historical hysterical Whitewater blowjob investigation

Why didn’t stand up George just come out and tell the truth instead making Libby lie to that grand jury?

Because George is now completely incapable of telling the truth, even when it would be to his own -- or, more correctly, his handlers' -- advantage?

I mean, if George walked in, soaking wet, and said it was raining, I'd look out the window before I looked for my umbrella.

He was never the sharpest crayon in the box, and six years of trying to remember this week's "convenient euphemism" talking point has frayed his few working synapses so badly that even his hardcore supporters are starting to worry about him.

What I've been so confused about is if it was all authorized by George anyway why did they hide and lie about it in the first place?

I mean why didn't George just come out and say, "I don't like what Joe Wilson wrote and I can't actually deny that he is telling the truth so instead I'm going to reveal to the world that his wife is an undercover operative for the CIA. That will show everyone who is boss around here."

The Poor Man is being all tricky by swiping these Muppets and Shari Lewis and Lambchop videos, originally premiered right exactly here, thank you very much

I'll just note in passing that the video of Tommy Seebach Band covering Apache that the Eds. used to set off Sprezzapaleeza was posted in the comments section of this fair site on several occasions by yours truly during the Great Youtube Wars of Aught Six.

And although it's not an "authentic" video per se, I really think this has to be considered a contender.

Um, Teacher? Mr. Ruppert? I have a Right Wing Talking Point (tm) question. Let me ask it this way. If I rob a bank, I can be prosecuted for bank robbery. Is that correct? So are you saying that if the very next day YOU rob that bank, no crime was committed because the bank was "already robbed"? I mean, that seems to be the premise here. Government person A tells reporter B. That means that if Government person C tells reporters D, E, F and G, no crime was committed by anyone other than GP A? That's silly.

Also, Gary, prosecutors do not decline to prosecute because they find a "crime was not committed". Prosecutors do not make that determination (which is why they are called "Prosecutors" and not "Judges"). Prosecutors decline to take cases to trial they are not confidant they can win. Just what exactly did you think the point of "Obstruction of Justice" was, anyway?

And as I have explained before, there is only one entity that can determine whether a CIA agent's status was "covert" or not. Care to guess what entity that is? Here's a hint. It's not you. It's not me. It's not the press (not even fox news!!) Alright, I'll tell you. It's the CIA. And they specifically classified Ms. Wilson as covert. Sorry, but you don't get to change that...

In fact, the news media is so grudingly reporting this that they put it in their papers on a Friday before Labor Day. They want to bury this story.

You know what else was put in the papers on a Friday before Labor Day? This:

"WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 -- Iraqi casualties soared by more than 50 percent during the roughly three-month period ending in early August, the product of spiraling sectarian clashes and a Sunni-based insurgency that remains "potent and viable," the Pentagon noted today in an comprehensive assessment of security in Iraq.

In a grim 63-page report, the Pentagon chronicled bad news on a variety of fronts. One telling indicator was the number of weekly attacks, which reached an all-time high in July."

Why does the Pentagon hate America?

I have to say I'm kind of confused by your choice of videos here. Is there a Siegel tie-in I'm not aware of?

By the way, I was planning on spending the afternoon trying to bury the fact that Fitzgerald is a liberal Democrat. Anyone care to help? First, we've got to find all the indications that Fiztgerald is a liberal Democrat. That's the part that I'm having trouble with.

Also, I need to borrow a good buryin' shovel. Gary, can I borrow yours after you get done burying the fact that Scooter Libby was indicted for perjury?

WTF? Gary Ruppert, I tell you again: Get some help. Public insanity is neither attractive nor productive. You're an idiot; the shrinks probably can't fix that, but maybe they can help you with your compulsion to post idiotic diatribes about things you know nothing about, and which have nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Which is... Ah, Leah! was a great song! And Mr. Donny Iris (or whatever his name was) was an impressively nerdy presence in his little prom outfit. Television, OTOH, always creeped me out. And they still do. Thanks for the memories, Gavin!

When it comes to Patrick Fitzgerald, it seems that I have been proven completely right in calling him a desperate hackish prosecutor.

Fitzgerald knew the identity of the so-called leaker of the identity of Valerie Plame Wilson.

But, he wasted millions in taxpayer money by dragging out his investigation in a vendetta to get Bush.

Fitzgerald also has refused to indict the so-called leaker of the name of Valerie Plame Wilson.

Makes you think that maybe Armitage wasn't committing a crime, if Fitzgerald is refusing to indict him.

The fact is that Valerie Plame Wilson was outed in the 1990s by Alderich Ames. She hasn't been sent overseas in years. She was not a covert agent, and no laws were violated in revealing her identity.

In fact, Joe Wilson also caused the disclosure of his wife's identity by revealing it to members of the press in a quest to try and find out if the White House was doing anything against him.

That very legitimate concern, more legitimate than the claim that Karl Rove had anything to do with "leaking" Valerie Plame Wilson's name, has yet to be investigated by Fitzgerald.

In fact, the news media is so grudingly reporting this that they put it in their papers on a Friday before Labor Day. They want to bury this story.

They want to bury the fact that Patrick Fitzgerald is a liberal Democrat hack who was persuing an obsession with the President.

We all can only hope that the liberal smear artist prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald undergoes the same anxiety and financial loss that he has inflicted upon people that he knew to be innocent.
