I’ll just note in passing that the video of Tommy Seebach Band covering Apache that the Eds. used to set off Sprezzapaleeza was posted in the comments section of this fair site on several occasions by yours truly during the Great Youtube Wars of Aught Six.

Also, Gary, prosecutors do not decline to prosecute because they find a “crime was not committed”. Prosecutors do not make that determination (which is why they are called “Prosecutors” and not “Judges”). Prosecutors decline to take cases to trial they are not confidant they can win. Just what exactly did you think the point of “Obstruction of Justice” was, anyway?

And as I have explained before, there is only one entity that can determine whether a CIA agent’s status was “covert” or not. Care to guess what entity that is? Here’s a hint. It’s not you. It’s not me. It’s not the press (not even fox news!!) Alright, I’ll tell you. It’s the CIA. And they specifically classified Ms. Wilson as covert. Sorry, but you don’t get to change that…

Fitzgerald knew the identity of the so-called leaker of the identity of Valerie Plame Wilson.

But, he wasted millions in taxpayer money by dragging out his investigation in a vendetta to get Bush.

Fitzgerald also has refused to indict the so-called leaker of the name of Valerie Plame Wilson.

Makes you think that maybe Armitage wasn’t committing a crime, if Fitzgerald is refusing to indict him.

The fact is that Valerie Plame Wilson was outed in the 1990s by Alderich Ames. She hasn’t been sent overseas in years. She was not a covert agent, and no laws were violated in revealing her identity.

In fact, Joe Wilson also caused the disclosure of his wife’s identity by revealing it to members of the press in a quest to try and find out if the White House was doing anything against him.

That very legitimate concern, more legitimate than the claim that Karl Rove had anything to do with “leaking” Valerie Plame Wilson’s name, has yet to be investigated by Fitzgerald.

In fact, the news media is so grudingly reporting this that they put it in their papers on a Friday before Labor Day. They want to bury this story.

They want to bury the fact that Patrick Fitzgerald is a liberal Democrat hack who was persuing an obsession with the President.

We all can only hope that the liberal smear artist prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald undergoes the same anxiety and financial loss that he has inflicted upon people that he knew to be innocent.
