Jacquie's namesake Reverend Ian Paisley, one of the truly talented hatemongers, was feted and awarded a honorary doctorate by Bob Jones III, Great Leader of Bob Jones University.

Just thought I owed that to the S, N! community to point out.

P.S. Jacquie only meets my alpha-male standards if she gets drunk and makes out with chicks. I cannot understand how she can omit this essential disclosure.

Sadie, you forget the Reverend Ian of that name. The "Paisley" nomen isn't in the "Hitler" class, but anybody who adds it to their call-name by CHOICE is either tone-deaf or looking to spark some arguments.

"Her real life story is probably fairly interesting, if she were only able to be honest about it, with herself or her readers. When you consider the myriad illusions this woman has about herself, you do begin to pity her."

JMPP is the classic 'almost cute' SF geek fan girl who never grew up. She was treated hideously for years by AHS society because she was geeky and fat. So she developed low self-esteem and a hard shell to cover it. And she managed to lose some weight.

This last act made her into a person who could 'pass' in AHS society (think about Roth's 'The Human Stain,' etc. here). JMPP can now move between the world of uber-geek fandom and what others would describe as 'reality.' So this gives her the tools to get a fair bit of payback on BOTH her former geek comerades (whom she seems to not so secretly despise) and on some AHS guys who might now be 'into her.'

I also think that she's more than ADHD: I suspect some Asperger's, maybe even BPD or bi-polar? Oh well. I played enough 'Magic' back in the day to recognize 'the type.'

To be fair, I tried to read her blog. Jesus what an exercise in tedium.
I can't imagine the horror of having to hear it in person.
I don't care if she has two vaginas, one of which squirts gold coins,
there's no way way in the world I'm going there without ANSI-rated
hearing protection, a Kroger bag, and my truck idling in the driveway.

It's narcissism...in blog form.

It'd be fun to lock her in a room with Atlas Pam.

We'd have to tweak the gender a bit, but I think Elvis Costello has the perfect song for her:

She doesn’t want your pleasure
She wants as no one can
She wants to know the names of
All those she’s better than
Two little Hitlers will fight it out until
One little Hitler does the other one's will....

From her description that "It took wasting years of my life and tens of thousands of dollars trying to help my “less fortunate friends and boyfriends before I finally gave up and realized that their situations were the result of consistently making bad choices and not just misfortune." one can surmise that she unwisely "loaned" money to friends and boyfriends that she just didn't have to lose... and that they, for the most part anyway, didn't pay back a dime. It seems that JMPP was naive and unaware of one of the most basic rules of finances: never lend money, especially to friends or family, if you can't afford every penny of it to be gone forever. If you wish to call it a "loan," feel free--it's nice when someone unexpectedly pays it back. But, in your mind, you must consider it a gift, never to return, or you'll sour every relationship your money touches. It's so, so essential to never loan out money that you'll actually need in the near-future; that's a sure-fired recipe for disaster and broken relationships. So it seems JMPP let herself be taken advantage of and as a result is being harsh toward the less well off. That wasn't the lesson she should have learned.

You're giving this girl's ego too much credit. I'm astounded at the attention this dimwit has received from intelligent males no less.

If you read her accounts of her last relationship, she was clearly the underdog, always waiting for her gambling man to come home, always fighting for the bare emotional necessities..a scrap of attention. Yet she hung on, hoping he would change. Read her account of the emailing "stalker" and you'll see how little self-esteem and sense she has. The girl is a few blocks short of street smart and her so-called intelligence isn't worth much.

Bas-O-Matic nails it for the win.

Hardcore objectivist-style libertarians seem to be heavily dominated by a subspecies of male noted for living in the parental basement far past the point where it's seemly to do so. Attention from a female echidna would probably provoke an enthusiastic resopnse from them.

It is a fact universally acknowledged (quoting Austen, not Ruppert!) that the modern American High School Experience is mostly about "popularity". And in the AHS, the "popular" person possesses two basic attributes:

(1) They are "hot" -- by some floating calculation of physically attractive/nubile/potentially sexually available; and

(2) They can afford to buy all the latest, newest items & accessories, discarding last week's must-haves without regret or prejudice.

Thus, the modern epitome of AHS "popularity" is... Paris Hilton.

This is a pretty low-level-primate idea of human Alpha fitness, and it should be noted that the anthropological research on this kind of social organization has largely been done on a species of monkey much googled by political advocates over the past week. It seems, according to the current research, that macques may be natural Libertarians. Thus we tie together the disparate threads of our moonbat blogological discourses.

Those of us whose fondest memories of high school are the ones we've managed to repress, and even quite a few of the high school ecosystem "winners", are only too glad to escape into a wider universe where we can re-calibrate the Alpha standards. (People who fail to escape their high-school paradigms -- see Bush; George W.; Rove, Karl; or Gibson, Mel; -- are some of the most dangerous & also obnoxious individuals currently running loose in America.) Most of us find or form social groups where we can be loved for our personalities, our achievements, or our skills, over and above the AHS Dual Metrics.

The luckiest or hardest-working among us get paid for doing what we do best, but even those of us whose careers are just jobs can find social niches where we can be lauded for our talents... like the bloggers who can snark over the internets toobz for an approving audience, for instance.

Science fiction fandom, loosely defined, is one of those niches -- it may even be considered a prototype for the Blog Universe niche. SF fans reward the well-read, the witty, the avid networker, the creative, and the snarky. And when it comes to physical attributes, our standards are as elastic as our waistbands. Those “less perfect individuals in JMPP’s photos are happily hooking up in a social arena where “nice personality and “great sense of humor are considered positives, not excuses.

JMPP, by her own accounts, has spent untold amounts of her time, nubility, money, energy, and other valuable resources in these arenas. And, according to her own words, she has failed to impress us with her intelligence, wit, education, or creativity.

So she’s reduced to fleeing back to the Paris Hilton Gold(digger) standard: ‘I’m hot and have money.’

Tragically, she’s taken some of us right back to high school with her. Remember, when you start throwing around words like “hose beast and “c*nt – the Paris Hilton HS Terrorists have won.

Don't waste your time, fellas--a bit about me:

Fact: I'm objectively gayer than 98% of Americans

Fact: I'm white. Did you know that whites have a bunch of stuff?

Fact: I'm male: A lot of people go on and on about women; however, only 51% of Americans are women.

Fact: I hold advanced graduate degrees from fancy universities, while black people rarely hold such degrees.

Fact: My genetically-fit parents are rich white people who own a bunch of stuff, while most Americans are not lucky rich people.

Fact: In a peer-reviewed hot-or-not study by the internet, I am rated a 9.5 amongst all the males in my cohort. Which means I'm 95% cooler than you.

Fact: My income merely covers monthly rent, which puts me in the middlingest percentile of NYC residents.

Fact: I wouldn't fuck that bitch with a borrowed non-gay dick. Also, I'm a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (Richmond).

No wonder she thinks she’s a hottie. In her narrow milieu, she is.

Well, anyone in her narrow milieu is likely to attract plenty of drooling geek bot attention, which is really a window into her MO. She basically courts the attention of libertarian fanboy basement dwellers, tells them what great friends they are and how she wishes more men would adopt their perspective, laughs at their stupid Star Trek jokes, nods appreciatively at their discursions on Magic the Gathering strategy, then when one of them makes an awkward pass after a night of drinking at DorkCon 3000 she gives them a condescending look of pity as she explains what great friends they are but she just doesn't see them in that way.

Oh, good lord. This is the same fruitcake who organized the Save Wash campaign last year. The Joss Whedon SF movie Serenity had a scene in which the ship's pilot, Wash (a very popular character) was killed just after the Big Space Battle, and a sizable number of fans went nuts. Whedon, as usual, laughed evilly and slunk away to plot more mischief such as the Wonder Woman movie.

So she's into D&D. With the dorks she probably hangs out with, no wonder she thinks of herself as having above-average appearance.

Objectively, Jackie Mackie PoPackie just doesn't cut it.
