Well, in my opinion….

Whoa! My “emotional social intelligence prosthetic device” just started vibrating.

In all seriousness, if that emotionometer device works anything like as well in real life as it did in the trial, it will be a massive, massive boon for higher functioning autistic people. Trying to interpret other people’s mental states and nonverbal cues is extremely hard and extremely distressing for many of them.
