Oh my God. Bush has even lost Marie over the port deal:
U.S. lawmakers formally asked your administration on Thursday to reconsider your approval of a sale giving a company in the United Arab Emirates control over significant operations at six major American ports. Now, you will forgive me, Mr. President, for saying so, but this action is just not going to fly with the American public.
I feel like a major rift has opened in the cosmos. If you need me, I’ll be cowering under my bed until I’m certain the world isn’t about to end.

Following the link she provides, all Saddam talks about is “a booby trapped car causing a nuclear explosion in Washington or a germ or a chemical one”. Color me pinko but I think that “Bin Laden determined to strike in US” is slightly more prescient…
