You remind of that Cake song where John McCrea proclaims: “He’s callin’ me dude!” Gus, dude, you’ve really given me a lot of power, here. You mean I really have the power to dominate a thread? Well, with that very question, haven’t you invited me right back?

It was friendly and hospitable of you to invite me back with that question, gus, so I’m going to go easy on you. My point is this:

The powers that be at “Sadly, no!” have put out a huge welcome mat, with no restrictions, at least none that I have come up against so far. While I loathe much of the irreverence at this site to values I hold dear to my heart, and consider sacred, and while I am loath to admit it, this site is the greatest example of good old American free speech that I have ever come across. And there are no differential opportunity structures hereeveryone, regardless of race, religion, color, creed, (even the band, Creed) sexual orientation or trollness, is allowed an equal opportunity to blog and blather on as much as they want. That includes you, dude! Further more, if everyone just agreed with me, like you’re supposed to, there would not be so much of a demand for me to attempt to explain myself. So, gus, that’s the short answer to your question. Would you like the long one?

It’s kind of like Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner, where the Road Runner is always ordering new, fangled gear to try to get rid of Bugs Bunny. He never succeeds, but it doesn’t seem to phase him, he just moves on to the next plan of attack.
