Good grief, before you know it those liberals will be exchanging secret memes secretly and making conspiratorial plans by writing them on paper that is delivered with federal guarantees of privacy!!! Then they could easily be burned or shredded, and there wouldn’t be any copies out in cyberland to be recovered. I wouldn’t put it past them to go to rooms, like in bars, or restaurants or even a private home where they would talk and nobody but them will know what they said.

I, for one, demand that libs reveal the names of everybody they write to and meet for beers with.

Reminds me of The Awful Disclosures of Maria Monk. She claimed that there was a secret tunnel connecting the seminary with the nunnery so that those awful Catlicks could engage in wild orgies without anyone noticing. A Protestant delegation was allowed to inspect the buildings in investigating her claims. When they found no tunnels, they concluded that rather than them not existing, they must be very cleverly concealed.

This listserv thing pisses of conservatives because everyone knows that truly free and open political communication involves top-down messaging of 140 letters or less. Rumor has it the leftists were actually writing whole paragraphs, maybe even more! What could possibly require that much blah blah blah. It’s easy: “more socialism from obama! debtors prison law vetoed” See! That’s all you need to know.

It’s not all bad, though. Given the right’s new love of public communication, we’ll be seeing lightly moderated comment sections over at Instacracker’s place. That’ll be fun.

Then when their version of the same comes to light, the waters are sufficiently muddy that, say, a gaggle of billionaires including a cult leader who thinks he is god funding the right wing noise machine is equivalent to a solitary wealthy person providing some funds to Moveon several years ago.

No, no. His mother was the ingenious conspirator. She plotted to have a baby on foreign soil (was it Kenya? Indonesia? I forget) and then forge a birth certificate to make it look like he was natural born so that she could pull a trick on the American people by getting a furriner elected president some day. True, she didn’t live to see it, but she obviously knew it would happen–why would she have gone to all that trouble otherwise?

Obama is simply a dupe of her brilliant, nefarious plot hatched back in 1960.
