Actually, the buses were sitting idle when the emergency plan of New Orleans specified that the mayor was to use school buses and city owned buses to evacuate everyone who needed transportation. The mayor totally failed to use the buses, even though, apparently, there were some 200 school buses in ONE lot in NO before the hurricane hit, and there they still sit, under water.

The boy didn’t embarrass Bush, who couldn’t have commandeered the buses anyway. He shamed Nagin who seemingly forgot to follow the very specific guidelines of his own city’s emergency plan, which included using the buses owned by the city and schools, as well as private buses.

Bush is doing everything he can to help the real victims of this disaster… All the rich folks that are having their groceries and buses stolen by these inhuman looters.
We have zero tolerance for looters and this young man will be prosecuted to within the furthest extent of what passes for law these days.
