Hello, I used to be looking through the web site looking for some data and arrived via your weblog. I'm amazed by the data that you've got on this site. It reveals how effectively you comprehend this subject. Saved this internet web page, should come back once more for lengthy term. You, my good friend, ROCK!!!

You may know her better by her maiden name, Manananggal.

I have a question Mr.

So, can you be a crazy asshole and still make people like you? Can you raise an army of zombies? If so, would you have some kind of mind control or would they be wild with insatiable hunger for man flesh? Thanks!

Jim,
I'm warning you now: I'm stealing this quote ("sort of like calling a tweaked-out meth-whore a “diva” ")next chance I get to say it in conversation. Priceless.

Any requests for royalties should go to my attorney and be 500 words or less.

I always get these confused, too.

I can't get into the whole blog award thing. Its just too.. self aggrandizing. Its too much like the MSM patting themselves on the back.

I add to tip jars, click through on ads, and read. Isn't that enough of a reward.

I'll bring flowers next time, I promise.

The part I liked best about Malkin's piece was that the gold standard of credibility was variously "rejected by the NYTimes," "mentioned by the NYTimes," and "NYTimes refused to credit."

When Greater Wingnuttia drives the Grey Lady to extinction with the mad reporting skillz, what will they compare themselves to?

“the Weather Underground manifesto Prairie Fire”, along with the rest of WU missives and rants are available in a book that I bought about a year ago. Apparently “unearthing” means $12.95 at a good independent book store.

Fun fact: the guy she cites him interviewing taught the WU everything it knew about bombs, actively incited them towards violence, and actually managed to get their case thrown out by being a paranoid, self-aggrandizing lunatic on the stand. It's pretty much a textbook case of incitement and entrapment.

The right really swung for the fences on their version of the story, but the swinging was largely a wasted effort, and it's going to blow up in their faces come 2012 when this guy is being sought out for interviews by the real media. Any non-casual coverage of Ayers's past by anyone outside of the right is going to be pretty violent for the provocateur's version.

Sheesh! Can three trustafarians get together for coffee anywhere in the Bay Area without this dude showing up with his trusty camera?

He's a creepy voyeur who gets off on people (pretty girls, largely) being naughty extremist unsensible radicals, and listening to him and his fanboys is like listening to guys who set up cameras to watch people piss -- only he doesn't have the excuse of openly getting off on it.

I'd heard of the other fellows before, but I was intrigued (and by intrigued, I mean that I had a severe case of the giggles) by MichMalk's namecheck of "Zombie". Her site lists his footwork:

Obama Visits Billionaires Row — San Francisco, April 6, 2008
McCain in San Francisco: Fundraiser Rally — San Francisco, July 28, 2008
Kennedy Campaigns for Obama — Oakland, February 2, 2008
Operation First Casualty anti-war protest — San Francisco, November 28, 2008
Berkeley Tree-Sit Finally Ends — Berkeley, September 9, 2008
Up Your Alley Fair — San Francisco, July 27, 2008
Marines Recruiting Office Protest and Counter-Protest — Berkeley, June 21, 2008
Israel in the Gardens 2008 — San Francisco, June 1, 2008
Nakba-60 Palestinian Festival — San Francisco, May 10, 2008
Palestinian Checkpoint on the U.C. Berkeley Campus — Berkeley, May 7, 2008
Olympic Torch Relay — San Francisco, April 9, 2008
Pro-Troops Rally at Marines Recruiting Office — Berkeley, March 22, 2008
Iraq War Fifth Anniversary Protest — San Francisco, March 19, 2008
Iraq: 5 Years Too Many — San Francisco, March 16, 2008
Berkeley Marines Protest — Berkeley, February 12, 2008
Berkeley’s Marine Corps Recruiting Center Controversy — Berkeley, February 2, 2008

Sheesh! Can three trustafarians get together for coffee anywhere in the Bay Area without this dude showing up with his trusty camera? Also, he very unilaterally declared Victory In Iraq Day, aka Let's Declare Victory And Go Home--a virtual ticker-tape parade. Srsly.
