Wingnut reasoning 101: Two wrongs DO SO make a right!

Huffing mustache guy Frank Salvato demonstrates the basic technique in his latest editorial at The Rant.

Vietnam War protest hero John Kerry recently called on the White House to release ?in their entirety? all of Supreme Court nominee John Roberts? records as they pertain to his public service. “We cannot do our duty if either Judge Roberts or the Bush administration hides elements of his professional record,” Kerry said.

And now watch the turnaround…

I am sure Senator Kerry will afford the White House the same amount of time to release Roberts? records as Kerry took to sign his Form 180. In fact, the White House should follow Kerry?s lead and release Roberts? records exclusively to a friendly newspaper so that they can vet and redact information that could be of any substance. This way the White House could say they satisfied the request for the release of Roberts? records without actually releasing any information?just like Kerry!

Here’s the photo that accompanied the editorial.

And that’s wrong and mean, so let’s make it “right” by posting a photo alleged to be of Frank Salvato. [Thanks: jkd]

There, “all better.”

Hmm, I don’t know about that.

I may be scarred for life.

Mrs. Tarquin Biscuitbarrel

“Huffing mustache”!!!

Does Sadly, No! always make me laugh until my ribs hurt?

Happily, Yes!

Tenderly yours, Mrs. Tarquin Biscuitbarrel

Ok, so, here’s the thing. I’m at Sadly No!…there’s a post about some stupid American thing, and a picture of a big fat pig.

Question: Do I comment on the fat pig, or the stupid American thing or do I twist myself into knots trying to be clever, being oblique about the obvious, all the while studiously avoiding sounding anti-American?

You know what? Sadly No is hard.

How sad for you.

I know; I had to wipe the tears from my keyboard while I typed that.

“follow Kerry?s lead and release Roberts? records exclusively to a friendly newspaper so that they can vet and redact information that could be of any substance.”

For clarity: is this a standard wingnut talking point, in a memo somewhere, or is it something Salvato just pulled out of his pimply, Stimpy-riffic ass?

Why it’s both!!

For the record, all wingnut talking points come out of some wingnut’s ass. Sad, but true.

It’s a dessert topping, AND a floor wax!

Just like a cloaca… well, we’ve covered that.

Did you know that cloaca is Latin for sewer? When I first heard that, I thought to myself: You know, if I were a chicken, I’d be highly incensed by that term.

Political Book: Americans on Politics, Policy, and Pop Culture
Tomorrow morning in thousands of newspapers around the country, opinion editorials (or ?op-eds?) will appear by well-paid columnists like George Will, Michael Barone, Linda Chavez, and many others. Their sharply tuned vocabularies and finely crafted articles serve an important function in shaping public opinion on politics, social issues, and more. But they ain?t the only ones. The Internet has made publishing and widespread distribution available to a new brand of opinion writers. They are teachers, lawyers, construction workers and parents with plenty of insightful things to say. Americans on Policy, Politics, and Pop Culture contains 101 of the best op-eds published from seasoned columnists to everyday Americans — many who write for TheRant.us — on a wide variety of topics.

Sadly No has a Geek that does not display a picture of himself and hides behind a Web bog that he stole for the Hannity blog . He can’t put up his own Website with writers to enlighten America. In other words Sadly No is Sadly lacking . Write an article babes and try to submit your leftist bull fit on a Soros Website. Maybe they understand your strange humor. All your little far leftists boys keep looking at People Political. Maybe I put up my picture in my hot pink bikini. Sadly No, they could not endure such an eye full of famine pulchritude.

Boy, was that ever incoherent. Famine pulchritude?

A word of advice; write within you means.

But, I imagine you’ve got great tits, so that’s something. Work with that.

Famine pulchritude
Is that like Kate Moss?

And I’m pretty sure “My Cat Hates You” was around before Hannity’s site, so does this mean he stole his from a bunch of surly felines?
Perhaps it would help if someone took The Babe aside and explained the concept of the internet to her. (Or, okay, him, I’m not prepared to rule that out.)

Aaaggh! My eye! My eye! It’s full of famine pulchritude!!! Gaaah!! Get it OOOOUT!!!

Marq, famine is pulchritudinous, in that it usually gets rid of all those inconvenient darkies.

And flies and bloated stomachs make for such hot accessorizing…

Oh, but “The Babe,” I thought the media was liberal and was constantly discriminating against conservatives…? Now I’m all confused!

P.S. I am extremely amused by the repeated use of “Web bog.” Kudos.

Ok, Ok. I’ve figured it all out now. At first I thought all these Marie Jon’ supporters just weren’t that bright, and didn’t really know their way around a keyboard, but this latest post by ‘The Babe’ makes it all clear.

Marie Jon’ is outsourced wingnuttery. That is, she isn’t a real wingnut- none of the commenters are either. They’re Indian – they’re some kind of web-publishing service operated out of Mumbai, contracted by Grover Norquist. Think about it – it explains a lot:
1) The utter incoherency of their comments
2) The wholesale plagerism on the site
3) The repeated mistakes in basic usage of the english language.

“Sadly No has a Geek that does not display a picture of himself and hides behind a Web bog that he stole for the Hannity blog.”

Come on…that is NOT a native english-speaker.

MJ and gang being an Indian-contract outfit would also explain the tech-savvy Sadly, Yes.

Anne: The online dictionary defines bog as: n : wet spongy ground of decomposing vegetation; has poorer drainage than a swamp; soil is unfit for cultivation but can be cut and dried and used for fuel [syn: peat bog] v 1: cause to slow down or get stuck; “The vote would bog down the house” [syn: bog down] 2: get stuck while doing something; “She bogged down many times while she wrote her dissertation” [syn: bog down]

So maybe all these wingnut sites really are “bogs”…places where the truth gets stuck and can’t get out, and we can start refering to them as such; O’Reilly’s Bog, Hannity’s Bog, Coulter’s Bog, etc.. I imagine right wing “bog writing or bog-ing starts to stink rather quickly, too.
