Trochee is a trochee, and anapaest is an anapaest, but iamb is not an iamb(at least not as it is correctly accented and currently used), spondee is not usually a spondee(though it is when I say it, since I say it wrong[I say iAMB, too, because I'm a lazy-ass cheater]), dactyl is definitely not a dactyl, usw.(though as a lazy-ass cheater, I mentally file it as “DAAHCtylos”.)

Smut, you are a learned man and i will defer to your greater knowledge. I just have to know, am i the only one for whom iam has never been an iamb, nor trochee a trochee, but anapaest has forever and always been an anapaest?

The thing about Blago daring the Feds to tap his telephone and then saying incriminating things on that phone actually does suggest a narcissistic disorder — the whole “they can’t touch me, I’m invincible” thing. I’m no psychiatrist, but I won’t be surprised if his defense eventually turns on some sort of mental illness.

I’m sure he is interesting either way.
I reckon S,N! should devote more time & energy to the burning issues of the day, i.e. the issues that happen to concern me (for instance, “How come ‘iamb’ is an iamb, and ‘trochee’ is a trochee, but ‘anapaest’ is not an anapaest?”).

The only thing I’ve heard from any liberals as described above is carefully worded references to a fair trial and the presumption of innocence, but then, liberals do tend to support things that are in the Constitution.
