I had to respond. For someone who is being so earnest and serious there is a very unserious RNC talking point in the middle of your essay that just has to be delt with.

They are not retreads, they are the most experienced people possible who the President trusts to implement his agenda. The fact that you insult them as retreads shows that you don’t quite understand how administrations are formed and what works and what does not work. Experience works. People who you trust works. Hiring nice middle of the road academics or municiple politicians simply because they are bipartizan does not work. That would be the FAIL.

People did not go after Bush for hiring Ford and Nixon retreads Cheney and Rumsfeld; why would they, as much as I may disagree with them ideologically, they were very well qualified.
