If Barack Obama is elected the next president of the United States on Tuesday, I hope the Republican Party and conservatives take the higher road.

Yeah – last time around they won with purple-heart bandaids & rigged touch-screens, & now they’re getting their asses kicked without them … so I’m sure that with those two examples to compare & contrast, they’ll magically realize NOW that America needs its political campaigns to be about actual issues instead of a series of malicious ratfuck ops.

What is a “pre-Bush inauguration strategy?” Bush has already been in office for 8 years – we’re post-Bush now, unless he’s asserting that Dems started crafting their strategy for post-inauguration ’09 in 2000, in which case they are playing a subtle game, indeed.

Well, the message may have been sent, but after a few years of Dems taking impeachment off the table and generally pissing themselves as a display of submission, I’m not sure it was received – certainly not by the Democratic leadership.
