Riehl Hurled Spew

Dan Riehl:

This race is still close and were there an effective candidate who could counter Obama’s liberal nonsense with solid Right of center answers, it would be a slam dunk in the end. From the debates to the stump, McCain has not presented an image of someone who is ready to be in-charge. I suspect a great many people want to vote for him very much. Unfortunately his decision making, statements, and his appearance of flailing about has done no good service to his cause. And still he might pull this one out.

Hammer, meet nail. The ‘race is still close’ and ‘a great many people’ want to vote for John McCain very much, aside from that tiny, nagging detail that he regularly and very publicly makes terrible decisions, says retarded shit all the fucking time and couldn’t boil a pot of water without ’suspending’ all water-boiling activities a couple times before knocking the pot over in a spasmodic rage, leaving everybody in the kitchen with second-degree burns.

Spot on political analysis, there, Danno.

In these dark and dangerous times, there’s only one thing that America wants and needs – more right-wing rhetoric.

Oh, Dan. Nine thoughts out of ten you have are GOP narrativology (how much you wanna bet he thinks Obama is a socialist radical and Mitt Romney was the last hope for the doughty small-government conservatism of St. Reagan?) and the tenth is usually shit like accusing a decent man of murdering his relatives for political gain.

Calling you scum would be an unwarranted insult to algae.

Shorter Dan: “Uh oh, looks like a graveyard up ahead – better start whistling…”

I’m really getting a sense of a certain attitude growing among the redneck populace: “Fuggit, I’m a-votin’ fer the nigra!” Nixon’s “southern strategy” may finally be on its last legs – the dixiecrats might be coming home at last.

In my personal version of the afterworld, people who talk about “slam dunks” will eventually inhabit the same circle of hell as those who mention “throwing under the bus” or “guns to a knife fight”.

Well, ok, but can we make them use the back door?

Easy, owlbear, don’t put a jinx on it.

We get the job done first, then we’ll do an end zone dance to end all end zone dances.

As the saying goes, a watched pot never sends out slanderous robocalls or accuses the kettle of excessive blackness.

It takes one (unfortunate statement maker) to know one, in Riehl’s case.

Too bad Ghouliani didn’t make it. Heheheh.

    ready to be in-charge…
    his decision making…

I see that, among his many other encephalic shortcomings, poor Dan is suffering from severe hyphasia, an insidious brain impairment which causes the misplacement of hyphens. Usually, the hyphasic either omits or extraneously adds hyphens, but not both. Sadly, Dan is apparently in the advanced stage.

OT cont’d: “Yet despite her formidable gifts, few who have worked closely with the governor would argue she is truly ready to assume command of the most important, powerful nation on earth. To step in and juggle the demands of an economic meltdown, two deadly wars and a deteriorating climate crisis would stretch the governor beyond her range. Like picking Sen. McCain for president, putting her one 72-year-old heartbeat from the leadership of the free world is just too risky at this time.”

Obama is giving solid left-of-center answers himself; the solid right-of-center answers would not refute the actual Obama campaign, but the radical leftist chimera conjured by Riehl’s corner and utterly epic-fail disbelieved by the rest of the electorate.

Again, true if understated. I suspect a press conference would stretch the governor beyond her range, although there’s no way of knowing that for sure.
