Let us not forget another little detail Doug doesn’t want to mention. No matter what you actually think of them, there are a number of states that DO tax drugs, usually by having the dealers purchase Drug Tax Stamps. (Anonymously, usually by mail, and with a fairly certain promise from the taxman that this information will not be used against you, since then the case would violate the 5th amendment, and prosecuting those who do buy the stamps would cut back on their revenue, anyway.)

Also, besides drugs, prostitution, and pornography, what other vices are out there that aren’t taxed? Alcohol, gambling, tobacco, all taxed. I can’t think of any others.

The money that the tourists pay to the hotels, stores, restaraunts, etc., goes to pay the salaries of those who have jobs because of the tourists, and that income is taxed by the Feds.

Also, what are capitol gains taxes?

If you had a ‘capitol’ tax you might raise more money. However the tax on capital isn’t doing so bad, as it is. Someone over at GOPUSA might point out to Doug that the inability to spell leads to misunderstanding that detracts from his already bad argument. On second thought don’t. He should look as witless as he is.

Dougie boy hates paying taxes and decries “an underground cash economy of drugs, prostitution, pornography and other vices.” So, here’s an idea: legalize drugs and prostitution! That way we can TAX them!!!

As far as I know, porn is legal and hence taxable.

And BTW…someone should remind dougie that all those damned foreign tourists pay sales taxes, hotel room taxes, gas taxes, tolls on the roads they use, taxes on the airline tickets they buy.

hmmm. Sounds like the man is advocating the legalization and taxation of drugs, prostitution, pornography and other vices. Or perhaps this is his subliminal self outing him as a consumer of those “vices” and he thinks he should not have slink to receive their beneficial effects; that they should be available to him where ever he wants.

And then there was this:Because, you see, corporations don’t pay taxes; people pay taxes.

Sounds like he’s advocating that Corporations pay their fair share? No? Isn’t that rather anti-business for a conservative?

It sounds like the GOPUSA is hard-pressed to fill the shoes of their former star reporter, Jeff Gannon. Maybe Doug Patton should take some dirty pictures of himself, post them online and see if that improves his thinking skills any. It couldn’t hurt.
