The Waiting Is The Hardest Part

Posted at 17:50 by Gavin M.

It’s like you’re sitting at the bus stop and you notice a big mound of dog poop on the sidewalk, and then you see Ace all like “O! Solo Mio!” — stage-walking down the street with his arms in declamatory parentheses…

But now the rumours have resurfaced, suggesting that they may be coming from elements in the Republican Party.

    Ya think?

    Wheee!!
    Top of Ace’s post:

    1) It’s not just a silly little rumor.

    End of Ace’s post:

My source is someone in the blogosphere.

Note: Please don’t post the woman’s name. I know who we’re talking about. I’m not comfortable about outing her since the media hasn’t and I don’t have enough to verify this on my own.

Ace: “Not sure if this makes it more suspicious or if I’m now just being silly.”

Let me help ya out there, Ace.

You’re not being silly. You’re being fucking stupid.

Remember no matter what isn’t found on Barack’s credit card receipt, in this woman’s underwear drawer, etc. Ace is the “man” who said the following:

“So while my facts may be off, my conclusions still stand, obviously. If anything, my conclusions are stronger now.”

Like it’s gonna matter in Upper Wingtardia.

My favorite part is Ace’s discovery of the Caribbean connection. She currently lives on an island in the Caribbean. Obama recently vacationed on another island in the Caribbean. Therefore, something or other that’s obvious to Ace.

Dude needs to familiarize himself with a map and some basic information on current patterns of air travel in the hemisphere.

Even the Daily Mail are skeptical.

That’s a pretty huge warning sign that this might be a huge pile of crap. I mean, geeze, thats one step off of Douglas Feith backing the story as true, given the fact-checking abilities and general hatred of Obama the Mail has.

Man, I can’t wait for McCain’s economic plan later today. Will he play toward the base, cutting the top tax rate, or will he do something with some populism. Which McCain will we have today?

It’s impossible to say – even he and his campaign staff may not know yet, and once they decide on something, it’s even money that McWorse will have some kind of misfire and bark out something totally different once he’s in front of the mike.

A guy who claims to have knowledge of one liaison has talked, and is willing to talk to media, and in fact has been put in touch with media.

It’s always possible he’ll get cold feet.

I should say: He does not have direct or hearsay evidence, just direct observation of circumstantial evidence.

Umm, the source of the rumor is a guy who saw something that might have been evidence. And he’s willing to talk to the media!

    Or perhaps it’s Vicki Iseman.

This is the real problem with the McCain campaign: no matter how hard they try to fuck the rats, they always leave themselves open for a counter-ratfuck.

Eh. A white girlfriend would fire up the base like crazy. This one’s black, so not so much I’m thinking. If he’s got a black girlfriend or three, the racists will be have a harder time making themselves afraid that he’s out to steal their white wimmenfolk.

Yeah, really. Andy McCarthy was reduced to plugging the whole Ayers-ghostwriting flimflam the other day. The entire argument is based on (1) both Ayers and Obama have used water imagery in their books; (2) they both write in a way that one could generally describe as “fierce, succinct, and tightly coiled,” and (3) a misuse of textual analysis tools.

And they seem to think that if they can just find the right piece of feces, it will, like kryptonite, render Obama powerless.

It’s like they get their political theory from Jack Bauer on 24 or something…

Which McCain will we have today?

From today’s speech on his new economic proposals:

“Investors are always responsible for their investment decisions, but the hard earned savings of Americans should not be penalized by the erratic behavior of politicians.”

Didn’t Obama spend the after-the-primaries in Hawaii? Which is not in the Caribbean? And wasn’t Easter sorta early this year, and even so, wasn’t the last Primary in June, long after Easter?

And, umm… WTF, man, ‘raised millions’? According to even the rag Gavin linked to, she was just a staffer.

So, after reading this and laughing so hard that I’m choking and tears are rolling down my cheeks, the significant other walks by and comments that I must’ve been reading something rather sad. And, in a way, she’s right.

Hmm, sounds like someone is in serious danger of getting a clue:

I’m finding this game much less fun than I did yesterday.

    - but still way more fun than it’ll be the first week of November. Then we’ll all get to see just how chronically turbo-emo Ace & his fellow memetic ticks can be, with Teh Enemy in power.

A comment left for Acey-poo, regurgitated here to make birds sing & babies smile:

The Ballad Of Epic Fail, Episode 492.

You will now be required to return your Wingnut Dishonor-Badge & Kerning Decoder-Ring to your regional office – obviously, you are not worthy.

Why would you let silly things like reality get in the way of a perfectly good smear? Papa Rove is very very disappointed in you! How long before you join the rapidly swelling ranks of the terrorist-loving vermin who’ve let reality poison their souls with its blatant liberal bias? If lying & character-assassination is good enough for Palin & McCain, it’s good enough for EVERYONE.

Is the lady’s last name “Whitey” by any chance?
