Simba B: If an original piece has been altered in any way, it’s usually smart editorial policy to make a note of it. Not to say that the NRO Cornerers are in any traditional sense of the word “good” or “smart.” More like “Oh shit, lookit that mess. Better fix it. You know, I have no experience with professional writing and editing, but something says to me that when you don’t change the essence of a piece of writing, you just clean up missing punctuation and typos, such notices are not necessary, and indeed in this case it serves as an acknowledgment of sorts regarding K-Lo’s mental state the night prior.
