Today Bill is supposedly going to start hitting the road for Barack; tonight Obama and McCain are doing another one of those forum thingies on CNN, which I can only imagine will touch on actual issues; and the 527s will get active soon. If Obama can pivot tonight and force a discussion of the issues, and sort of shame McCain with a smile and a serious tone, this thing can very easily get back on track.

McCain’s worse nightmare is defending his policies, without being able to hide behind Palin’s skirt.
