I marched in that demonstration, alongside a woman who found the PIRA's use of lethal force against innocent people abhorrent (she was a survivor of the Bloody Sunday massacre in Derry in 1972, when the British parachute regiment used lethal force against innocent people; unlike some, she did not allow this experience to drive her towards support for violent republicanism). Had the anti-war demo been an SF, that woman would not have marched in it, nor would many of the thousands who did. Mr. Cohen preferred not to allow the facts to get in the way of a good smear. Is it thinner if I arrive on an ancient Vespa with a pile of gear on the back topped with a crate of chickens and a pair of badminton racquets?
