He So Horny

Above: Still in the throes of solitary ecstasy,
Steyn reaches for Kleenex.

A couple of shorters of The Human Steyn, who has apparently, in addition to his customary steyning of the rear of his trousers, made a few new ones in their front:

The hostess with the moosest

  • Unlike Barack Obama, Sarah Palin is an authentic American who has a life outside politics, real experience, a willingness to drill, a huge gun, and a perfect rack… of, um, moose antlers. She’s exactly the kind of woman I came to America to masturbate to.

Momentary confusion

  • ZOMG, she’s got a bear skin in her office! I bet it’s polar bear! [fap fap] In front of a fireplace! [fap fap] But of course her charms are totally lost on Andrew Sullivan, that fag.

‘Shorter’ concept created by Daniel Davies and perfected by Elton Beard. We are aware of all Internet traditions.™

Mark Steyn, jizzlobber. If such an older wanker can get so turned on by Palin, I’m almost afraid to check on Adam Yoshida’s reaction.

Despite what anyone with a single scintilla of intelligence may think, Palin is the perfect nominee for purposes of drawing the “undecided” (working-class, white) ‘Mid-dull Murkin’ demographic…Obnoxious, confrontational …plus, as a ‘woman,’ she’ll claim an exception from being subject to the same shit she spreads…She reminds me of those gals who, in personals, claim to be “painfully honest”: “painfully honest” about you, but watch it if you essay a similar honesty about her…and because of her gender, she’ll claim a free pass: any criticism of her will be portrayed and perceived as ’sexism.’

I hope all of you encourage actor (and everyone else on liberal hate websites) to keep attacking Palin’s family. It’s miserable for them, of course, but it shines a bright light at what’s at the heart of liberalism: hate.

When Palin’s family stood on stage with her, it was close to game over, liberals - not that you realized it, of course. The contrast with the slick Chicago orator and the affirmative action princess couldn’t be greater. Americans are starting to talk about the vile abuse that the left is throwing at Palin, and it isn’t exactly working in your favor.

So carry on! I admit I find this to be absolutely fascinating. Keith Olbermann represented (I hope) the reaction of the liberal hate media to Palin’s speech: absolutely gobsmacked, desperately trying to think of something nasty to say. That’s a scene I’ll remember fondly for a long time. Or can we get Roland Martin to rant about community organizers again?

If all the GOP has in its trick bag is a family from Alaska, then it certainly is game over.

    For the GOP.

Nothing about Iraq. Nothing about Afghanistan. Nothing about the economy. Nothing about fuel prices. Nothing about healthcare. Nothing about deficits. Nothing about Iran. Nothing about China.

In short, nothing but window dressing.

    ‘See? We’re just like YOU!’

Except that Mr. Palin’s got a six-figure no-show sweetheart “job” with BP. Most Americans don’t have that.

    ‘See? We’re just like YOU!’

Except that Sarah Palin’s got state trooper protection for herself and her family.

    ‘See? We’re just like YOU!’

Except that they aren’t. The Palins have a lot more in common with the rich and powerful movers and shakers in the GOP than they do with the average American family. Make no mistake, folks — this ‘aw shucks’ act from Governor Palin is just that — an act. McCain and Palin are much less interested in helping the average American than they are in helping themselves and their cronies get even farther ahead than they already are.

When Sarah Palin says ’see, we’re just like YOU,’ she’s not talking to the average American, who’s worried about healthcare costs, gas prices and keeping a roof over his or her head. Oh, no, no, no.

She’s talking to the rich white guys at the convention in Minnesota.

pedestrian: How about D) None of the above?

Sarah Palin is the bright shiny object that appears to be a jewel from a distance but upon close reflection is nothing but reflective glass. The Repugs 08 have taken the objectification of women to new lows as only they could: She’s their new plaything based not just on her physical appearance but also on the distractability of the personal mythology they’ve hastily constructed for her. Her role is not to serve as backup in case the president needs replacing; her role is to personify the party’s petty hatreds and look good while doing so. Her lucky break is that Hillary Clinton was rather rudely yanked off the stage; otherwise, McCain’s sidekick would be nothing other than yet another pale stale male. She knows it and doesn’t care. When opportunity knocks, this “hockey mom” hangs up the carpool keys and trots out the family business, in all its cringeworthiness, exploiting each and every one, from the elder son who’s signed on as a warrior in the War on Terruh, to the pregnant teenage daughter of whose condition mom’s so happy she just had to announce it to the world (before the National Inquirer did), to the “special needs” bundle of joy pit-bull mom just so loved that she risked his life so as not to miss giving a political speech. She’s the perfect pandering tool: A woman who has no qualms about objectifying herself — or, apparently, anyone else around her. Just what we need: More sociopathic power- and warmongers running the White House. Big change, that.

Palin may have tremendous upside for the GOP base. However, this will have a limited effect on the overall electorate. Her downsides are potentially bottomless, however. Her problems are not going away. If the Obamas are smart and handle this thing properly, he’ll be in the White House.

If you’re going to hit us with the truth should there be something like, um, data, to back you up. Except there isn’t. I’m glad you were impressed. Everyone who wanted to be, was. But the truth is that Palin is a reformer from nowhere in the tradition of Jesse the body Vedntura and Arnold Schwarzzenegger. Except she’s really not because of her close ties to Ted Stevens, for one. It’s great that who she is, is someone a lot of people can identify with. But who she is, says nothing about how she is part of the reform in the economic policy, foreign policy, national defense, health care, immigration policy that McCain hasn’t sold to the public yet. He’s the default Republican nominee. He didn’t get the nod because of his message, he got it because of who he is and the negatives of his Republican opponents. At this point if you want to increase your votes, you can address the issues that are motivating those voters or you can scare them off of your opponent. Tell me how a hockey mom’s appeal, no matter how great, does either of those two?

Red shark, once Palin’s family got on stage - the teenager that liberal hate websites have been ripping into to, the son going to Iraq, the little baby that liberals campaign to have the right to destroy - I think her appeal was pretty obvious. Maybe you missed her speech. I don’t blame you - it must have been terrifying to liberals. I’m thinking Americans that saw it won’t soon forget it. Compared to standard DNC speech #4 that that slick Chicago orator gave, Palin’s speech was authentic, from the heart, and dead on target. It was chock full of win, and you liberals know it.

Yes, once America saw that a Republican nominee had a family on stage, suddenly the entire election was won, somehow or other, because, you know, look at them, they’re America, real America, not like the terrorist arugula-munching Democrats with their weird, un-American families who don’t look like families like they should look like.

And Giuliani made the same point: John Sidney McCain III is ready to be Commander In Chief because, literally, “look at him“.

There’s some sort of physical appearance thing going on, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but you can obviously tell just by looking at these people on stage who are the real Americans and ready to be Commander In Chief of the whole country, not just of the Alaska National Guard, as crucial as that command position is for our freedom.

It is Abstinence-Only Barbie, featuring an inflatable stomach. Now girls under the age of puberty can dream about getting pregnant. The doll will come with a special “Do As We Say, Not As We Do” pamphlet from the GOP.

It’s funny how the GOP tried to soften its Darth Vader image by hurriedly branding the first night of its convention as being about “Service.” And now the GOP’s nominee for Second Fiddle gets up onstage and derides ‘Service.’

All Palin did was rub off the lipstick the GOP tried to put on its own piggy visage. Y’all don’t give a shit about “Service” and everyone in the electorate knows it.

The Guess said: “Red shark, once Palin’s family got on stage - the teenager that liberal hate websites have been ripping into to, the son going to Iraq, the little baby that liberals campaign to have the right to destroy - I think her appeal was pretty obvious. It was chock full of win, and you liberals know it.”

    Translation: *Passes graveyard, whistles.*

The Guess said: “Is this an awkward time to point out that Obama didn’t win the Democratic primaries - you know, when people vote by secret ballot - and only went over the top because of the caucuses? Sorry about that.”

Not at all! Is this an awkward time to point out that Obama got more votes in his first two state primaries (NH & SC) than Palin got the last time she ran for governor? Hell, we can leave New Hampshire out entirely, and Obama’s South Carolina vote count alone still doubles Palin’s.

Your veep pick is swimming in the deep end of the pool now, pal. Better make sure she’s well prepped.

So.. A quick google suggests the RNC got a TENTH of the TV viewers that the DNC got.

So where is the convention poll bounce going to come from, if nobody watched it eh? I think Obama won the battle of the conventions, and everyone knows it.

You know.. there is a lot of crap about who “looks” presidential in this election. No matter how presidential Obama looks, Mcain doesn’t look like a president either. His physical appearance isn’t right. His hair is too white, and he doesn’t have enough of it. Peoples idea of a president involves a full head of iron grey hair, and someone a lot taller than Mcain.

But leaving aside the petty, ridiculous things like hair, a large part of “looking presidential” is how a person carries themselves. How they move, how they smile, the body language that says competency and sincerity.

Obama pulls that stuff off very well. I’m sure he has been studying. His body language looks right. Mcain on the other hand, looks like a geriatric who needs his nap. His smile is a terrible rictus, and he doesn’t move with confidence. Virtually every picture taken of him shows an awkward man. Obama on the other hand, knows how to pose for a photograph. Obama is able to keep his poise better too. Even caught off guard, he looks more dignified than Mcain does when posing for the cameras.

The “which one looks like a president” thing is just thinly veiled racism. But I think subconsciously, a lot of people are picking up on the fact that it is Obama who looks like a president. If you were a film director watching auditions for the part of the president of the USA, which man would you choose?

What? another day to go? I don’t think it matters.. Palin’s speech got ratings no higher than the programme that came on before it. At the moment, Palin is the one in the spotlight, that people are interested in. Mcain is old hat.

When Obama chose Biden, there were a few approving nods, and that was it. Obama is mister change, Biden is the reliable back up man. Nobody really cared about how good or bad Biden’s speech at the DNC was. What Obama said was the most important thing of the whole evening.

On the other side, we have heard Mcain blather on before. What do we want to hear from him? Well, we want to hear his justification of the Palin pick! It really is all about Palin at the moment. And yet, Palins speech got bugger all in the way of ratings.

When you get down to it, Palin is just way more interesting than Mcain. The media is tired of Mcain, Palin is new, and has newer, fresher scandals. Her politics are more openly divisive, more contravertial. People don’t really know where Mcain stands on most domestic issues, but Palin is a lot more clear.

Palin is busy doing her best maggie thatcher impersonation, and she is going to be far more polarising than that nobody John Mcain. Before the Palin pick, the polarisation was liberal versus conservative, democratic party versus republican party.. and Obama fans versus Obama haters. Now the repukes have a “personality” of their own!

Lets be honest.. in a miss congeniality contest, who is going to win? Obama or Palin? As a contest of media personalities, it isn’t even close.

Yeah yeah, Republicans, keep pushing the hate buttons, keep hauling out the same tired divisive circus, keep desperately bashing a candidate who people like more the more they get to know him, and do keep underestimating the intelligence, not to mention the anger, of more and more people who’ve only begun to realize how badly they’ve been screwed by you and yours. Anyway, while in the Illinois State Senate, Obama was the co-sponsor, and driving force behind a bill requiring the videotaping of all police interrogations in connection with homicides. “1) When Obama had power in Illinois, when did he do anything to reform that most corrupt of states?”

What’s Sarah Palin doing to reform her corrupt state? Why, stonewalling a state ethics investigation of her, that’s what.

“2) What does Michelle Obama do for a living?”

She’s an attorney. But while we’re on the subject of spouses and jobs, you’d better find out what Mr. Palin does for a living, too. I don’t know what it is, but BP pays him $100K for it and doesn’t actually expect him to ever show up for work.

You get bonus points, though, for referring to Illinois as “that most corrupt of states” in a post discussing the governor of Alaska. (Cf. Stevens, Ted; Murkowski, Frank; VECO; BP; Exxon and Exxon Valdez; et al.)

    2) What does Michelle Obama do for a living?

Off the top of my head: she’s a Harvard-educated lawyer who’s worked mostly for city government and community non-profits.

After a quick Google search: after working her way up from a blue-collar background to attend Princeton and Harvard Law, she’s held a number of positions–mostly in city government, community non-profits, and the University of Chicago. I don’t know how to tell you this, but The Truth’s small penis is a supporter of everything that was trendy in America in the 1960s — the marvelous effects of LSD and other psychedelic drugs, pyramid power, various oriental religious cults, transcendental meditation, UFOs and extraterrestrials, CIA conspiracies, you name it. For starters, I find that shameless ignoramuses are no different from feckless fault-finders. As an interesting experiment, try to point this out to him. (You might want to don safety equipment first.) I think you’ll find that all The Truth’s small penis really wants is to hang onto the perks he’s getting from the system. That’s all he really cares about.

Given the amount of misinformation that The Truth’s small penis is circulating, I must point out that if we hold him responsible for the hatred he so furtively expresses then the sea of blackguardism, on which he so heavily relies, will begin to dry up. He writes a lot of long statements that mean practically nothing. What’s sneaky is that The Truth’s small penis constructs those statements in such a way that it never occurs to his readers to analyze them. Analysis would almost certainly indicate that what we’re seeing is a domino effect of events that started with The Truth’s small penis stating that his decisions are based on reason. That prevarication incited his attendants to use paid informants and provocateurs to contravene decency. Vengeful, crazy fussbudgets reacted, in turn, by forcing me to experience psychological stress or “cognitive dissonance”. The next domino to fall, not surprisingly, was a widespread increase in larrikinism, and that’s the event that galvanized me to tell everyone that The Truth’s small penis sees the world as somewhat anarchic, a game of catch-as-catch-can in which the sneakiest thugs nab the biggest prizes.

No matter how close he’s come to making me abandon all hope, he won’t be satisfied until he finds a way to raise extortionate demands. The Truth’s small penis thinks it would be a great idea to delude and often rob those rendered vulnerable and susceptible to his snares because of poverty, illness, or ignorance. Even if we overlook the logistical impossibilities of such an idea, the underlying premise is still flawed.

Many of us do not wish to live within The Truth’s small penis’s walls of nihilism, and every intellectually honest person knows it. Please don’t misread my words here; even if one is opposed to bilious elitism (and I am), then surely, before The Truth’s small penis initiated an allotheism flap to help promote his drugged-out pronouncements, people everywhere were expected to lead him out of a dream world and back to hard reality. Nowadays, it’s the rare person indeed who realizes that The Truth’s small penis claims that the Universe belongs to him by right. Predictably, he cites no hard data for that claim. This is because no such data exist.

If The Truth’s small penis can’t be reasoned out of his prejudices, he must be laughed out of them. If The Truth’s small penis can’t be argued out of his selfishness, he must be shamed out of it. He attracts slatternly swaggerers to his army of impolitic cadgers by telling them that his teachings are our final line of defense against tyrrany. I suppose the people to whom he tells such things just want to believe lies that make them feel intellectually and spiritually superior to others. Whether or not that’s the case, I strive to be consistent in my arguments. I can’t say that I’m 100% true to this, but The Truth’s small penis’s frequent vacillating leads me to believe that he is not interested in what is true and what is false or in what is good and what is evil. In fact, those distinctions have no meaning to him whatsoever. The only thing that has any meaning to The Truth’s small penis is hedonism. Why? It is only when one has an answer to that question is it possible to make sense of The Truth’s small penis’s endeavors because what I find frightening is that some academics actually believe The Truth’s small penis’s line that human life is expendable. In this case, “academics” refers to a stratum of the residual intelligentsia surviving the recession of its demotic base, not to those seekers of truth who understand that this is a lesson for those with eyes to see. It is a lesson not so much about The Truth’s small penis’s ribald behavior but about the way that the unalterable law of biology has a corollary that is generally overlooked. Specifically, when a friend wants to drive inebriated, you try to stop him. Well, The Truth’s small penis is drunk with power, which is why we must get the facts out in the hope that somebody will do something to solve the problem. All in all, I realize that this letter has seemed incredibly bleak. However, expecting the worst from The Truth’s small penis means we will never be disappointed. If we’re wrong and The Truth’s small penis does not try to establish tacit boundaries and ground rules for the permissible spectrum of opinion, we’ll be relieved. If we’re right and he does, we’ll be prepared.

Look, guys, Truth is fake. In fact, all of the cast of recurring trolls we have here are fake. Truth is a particularly good parody, but not quite the real thing. Whoever plays him does a really good job of evoking that “scared, powerless man-child lashing out at the world” essence of a certain breed of right-winger, but…I don’t know. I’ve seen real trolling here and more often than not they’re more like Bruce where they stay only for a single comment or thread and then never come back. Rare ones come back but trolling a place like this is going to get boring after a while when the drama doesn’t escalate. The last recurring troll I remember is…well, let’s not mention his name but he sure did like to mow the lawn. Truth, Coach, Erik, and alla them have too much stamina and don’t get enough out of it (from a troll’s perspective) to continually troll every thread like they do. No, it’s some regular(s) (or in the case of Gary Ruppert, all of us) who thinks it’s funny or appreciates the elicited snark. Truth is a bit much, it’s true, but please don’t treat him as the real article. He’s not.

Trolling is only “worthwhile” as long as you get an increasingly hysterical reaction out of the person or community. Cf. Alkon, Amy. We aren’t usually fazed by trolling, which is why we don’t have hardly any at all.

I guess some of you are plenty angry at being laughed at last night. Don’t worry, the pain of watching Obama lose on November 4 will easily erase that particular memory.

Not one of you really wants to say what Michelle Obama does for a living. That’s fine. I’ll tell you anyway - she is VP of Community Outreach. She got a raise of approximately $100,000 once her husband was elected a US Senator. Affirmative action got her into college, got her a degree and a “job”, and now in a nice ironic twist has thrust her into prosperity by enabling the cycle of affirmative action to continue.

Race based preferences being a bedrock liberal belief, I’m sure this bother none of you. I’m sure you are proud of it. I find it disgusting but then conservatives actually abhor discrimation. I guess we’ll just have to differ on this one, liberals.

And that $100,000 raise she got? All part of dirty Cook County politics, something that Obama did absolutely nothing to fix. In fact, Obama embraced Todd Stroger, an openly corrupt and incompetent Democratic leader (look it up, liberals).

Obama did manage to vote against the Born Alive bill in Illinois (one of the votes where he at least had the balls not to vote “Present”), which was designed to protect victims of abortion that are born alive. Nice guy, your sleazy windbag. Haven’t seen any of you liberals address this, anymore than you’ve addressed the affirmative action or corruption issues. I guess this is more of your “pwning” of me, hmmm?

When Sarah Palin brought up on stage the teenage girl that you liberals have poured your hatred upon, the young man that is heading off to Iraq to kill terrorists, and the special needs baby, the contrast with the cynical, ambitious Obamas couldn’t be greater. There is nothing you liberals can do to change that.

I trust that on Nov 4, the same Americans that you liberals heap scorn and hatred upon will choose McCain and Palin.

  142. The Truth said,

Unduly some things never change. Take for instance the “rhetoric” in congress. More than 80 percent of Americans are opposed to the road to amnesty for a bunch of lawbreakers. Oh, I forgot . . . amnesty by any other name, is still not amnesty according to many diehard proponents who think we can’t see through their deception.

Even sheep get tired of the wool being pulled over their eyes.

Here’s the deal: The Democrats want to flood the United States with foreigners, so they can stay in power, and completely eradicate the Republican Party and conservative Christians — otherwise they wouldn’t be so pro-amnesty for a bunch of vigilantes who refuse to not only obey our laws, but show deep disdain for authority.

I guess so . . . what authority? And the Republicans want to payback corporate America for campaign goodies.

In other words: big businesses and special interest groups currently own America and your government. If you believe anything contrary to the writing on the wall — there is little hope of returning America back to its rightful owners — the American people.

Don’t believe for one minute, the incessant claim10 or even 20 million people cannot be deployed out of the country over a period of time. It’s total lunacy to reward people for invading a country, taking to the streets, demanding rights they don’t or shouldn’t have.

The Constitution of the United States has a provision intact where it guarantees the country will be protected against foreign invasions by our military. So what happens with our current government? Not only are we “unprotected” against foreign invaders — our government is blatantly encouraging the influx of foreigners to continue coming on over in droves. And if this “in your face” attitude isn’t bad enough — the border patrol agents have their hands tied behind their backs, many of them punished whenever they try to do their duty. Is this treasonous behavior or what?

    You decide.

In other words, McCain knows how to apprehend one of the world’s most dangerous criminals and has done nothing about it.

Isn’t McCain sworn to protect America against all enemies? How has this dereliction of duty gone unnoticed?

Americans continue to die in pursuit of bin Laden and McCain’s refusal to help Clinton or Bush “get” bin Laden by necessity makes him complicit in the crimes has committed and will commit.

We simply cannot have another president willing to let bin Laden walk.
